I feel like the last 3 or 4 grooming kits and trimmers I have owned have been a pretty big letdown for me - either due to poor design, weak motors, lackluster battery life, or blades that tear my flesh up. Not so with this grooming kit from YEEPUL. Seems like a funny name for something you absolutely do not want pulling anything, but this grooming kit has really stood out for me. It comes very thoughtfully packaged in tiers that help keep everything safe and organized during shipping. This kit contains absolutely everything you need for most grooming situations. I love the charging and organization base. I've had a few sets that come with a base, but never one implemented as well as this one is. Every trimming head and attachment fits in the base perfectly. The trimmer itself sits on there at an angle that is easy to get it onto the charging port for charging, while allowing you to still see the battery life without any issue. The trimmer components aren't obtrusively heavy, but they also aren't so light you feel like you will break them. All of the blades have worked very well. The wider trimming blade is a little harsher on the skin than the detail trimmer, but it didn't nick, snag, or cut my skin at all when using it. The detail trimmer blade and the body trimmer both work great. The foil shaver actually does pretty well as a single foil, particularly when you turn the trimmer onto "turbo" speed. Being a single shaver without a center cutting blade, it actually helps keep it from snagging skin in areas that you really do not want that to happen. The nose hair trimmer gets its job done as well, without any major pulling of my nose hairs. The trimmer has two speed levels: normal and turbo. This is really nice, because it allows me to conserve battery life and reduce skin irritation if I'm using it in areas where my hair is thinner or finer. But then, when I need "more power", I can hit the button again and it goes through my beard and hair on top of my head with ease. On the normal setting, the trimmer really isn't very loud at all. It does make some more noise when you turn it on "turbo" mode, but it isn't off-putting, and I'm sensitive to that. I also really love that it is rated IPX7 so you can either take it in the shower with you or clean it out with some pretty high-powered water - I haven't had any issues cleaning it with really hot water so far. The battery life is rated at 90 minutes, and I'm guessing that is probably about right without using too much "turbo" mode. I was able to use it after I got it without it being fully charged and got a good 60 minutes without it running out of charge or having any loss of power from it. The one thing that could make this even more perfect would be if there were some longer guards and taper guards available, because then I could replace all of my grooming and hair cutting stuff with this one grooming kit. I was impressed by how smoothly this trimmer runs. The attachments pop off and snap on easily. The body trimmer took a little fiddling the first time, but once realized I wasn't going to break it pushing it in place, it became just as quick to swap as the others. It also feels good in my hand. The build quality is really good. It doesn't have that cheap, hollow feeling some inexpensive trimmers have. It's exceptionally lightweight too, which makes it easy to maneuver without feeling like I'm holding a brick. This is the first trimmer I've owned that had dual speed settings, and I kind of liked having that extra bit of power when I needed it. My facial hair is thicker and pretty dense, and it cuts through it without slowing down. The body trimmer ended up being something I use more than I thought I would. I originally bought this for beard trimming, but that attachment turned out to be surprisingly good. It trims evenly and I'm not worried about using it in areas where I need to be careful. Cleaning has been simple too, since I just pop the attachments off and rinse them under water. Battery life has been great so far, and having the percentage readout on the handle is very useful, so I'm not left guessing whether or not I'll make it through a trim. Overall, it's been great.
