Push the button on the end of one of the logs and it lights up. The buttons underneath manage the sound. A nice cozy campfire. This little bundle of joy night light is absolutely adorable! I bought it for my desk at work to provide some extra light as I don't like working under overhead lights. It gave me a nice glow to work with. I especially like that it has a "flame like" option to look like a real flickering flame. My 9 year-old daughter saw how adorable it was and decided to "borrow" it and I haven't gotten it back since. She uses it for a nightlight and plays the soothing music to fall asleep too.
