Warning: Long and in-depth review
So let me preface this by saying 2 things. The first is that this is actually a real review, not an one. These programs have gotten *really* good, so good that most people won't even realize that half the reviews they read aren't authentic. If the spelling and grammar are perfect and it's a glowing review that only mentions one "negative", which isn't even a big deal, it's more than likely that the review you're reading is BS. It's like when somebody is interviewing you for a job and they ask you what your biggest weakness is and you say that you're a perfectionist or a workaholic. The second thing is that I’ve purchased 40+ different models of these types of toys in the last few years. At first I had absolutely no clue about them and what aspects make one good, bad, or so-so. Then I really started paying attention to various things that I preferred about one model over the other, getting way more detailed than a “normal” person would. I will use a given toy for about a continuous half-hour a night >4 nights/week, so durability and longevity is something I also pay attention to. These things are consumables, they wear out with enough use, it's not a family heirloom. I buy a lot of them due to them wearing out, some much faster than others. Also, if you know what to look for when you're buying, you can have it so each toy feels distinctly different than each other. I like variety in life, and I'm no different with these toys. Additionally, a really good product doesn't feel really good if it's all you've ever known; it feels average, so making a mistake and unknowingly buying a low-quality product can provide a lot of insight into what makes a great product truly great. I know that saying all of this doesn’t exactly reflect positively on me and make me out to be as cool as the Dos Equis guy, but I’m not here to make myself sound great, I’m here to help other people make good informed purchases with their hard earned money. Now that all of that is out of the way; right out of the gate, I will say that I’m very satisfied with this product so far. Admittedly, I don't place too much emphasis on the aesthetics of these products, I fall into the function over form camp. However, this thing is not hurting anywhere in regards to appearances. It looks just like the pictures show it to be, there’s no trick photography or bait-and-switch going on here. I also really like the larger labia that they made this doll with. I like that they offer it in 2 skin tones, although I feel that they should bring the price of the darker-skinned 21# one down the same price as the fair-skinned one. Hopefully that will be fixed for anyone reading this in the future and it'll just make them go, "What's this guy talking about?". I’m not going to address the size thing here because I’m writing this review for more seasoned users. If you don’t understand the sizes that are clearly indicated and how they proportion to real life women, read the other reviews that can fill you in. Along the same lines, I’m not going to address how easy/difficult it is to clean after use, you should already have a good idea of that if you’re buying a >$100 toy, and you should have all the required accessories needed to properly clean and sanitize it. For relatively-new users who are unaware, in addition to cleaning and care accessories, I recommend getting 2 USB toy warmers (or 1 of those double-probe warmers) and a heating blanket/pad to maximize realistic sensations and get the most enjoyable experience out of these products Everybody mentions smell and packaging, so I guess I'll say that there wasn't any off-putting chemical odor and that it came in sealed plastic and 3 separate layers of cardboard boxes. It arrived in good condition with absolutely no clues as to what the contents were, which is how it should be, so I'm not awarding any bonus points for simply completing an essential aspect. What I am going to primarily address are the parts most relevant to me and the main reason we buy these things. This is where this doll differentiates itself as a premium product made by a manufacturer trying to build a brand, not someone in a country that hates us trying to make a quick buck under a brand name that most of us can't even pronounce, let alone remember and associate a reputation with. I assume this doll is made in the same place, but it being made by a company that isn't a fly-by-night operation (like most others are) is something you should look for. They can't afford to put out terrible products, because they will be set back significantly if they were to just change their brand name and start over if they get it wrong. Poshtail wouldn't be on social media and whatnot with the presence they have and put as much emphasis into good customer service as they do if they weren't trying to build something substantial and significant here, they appear to be in it for the long haul (relative to other companies in this space anyway). Back on track, a big part of making the most important area of the doll perform well is the softness/firmness of the TPE. I see so many reviews where the people are gushing about how incredibly soft the TPE on a toy is and how great the toy is as a result, and when I see that I just stop reading because it's clear they have no idea what they're talking about. If the TPE is too soft, there won't be much sensation transmitted to you at all. All the details, ridges, nubs, folds, spirals, etc. won't be felt because soft TPE just gives way against any amount of pressure and basically flattens out (if I were to oversimplify my explanation). Additionally, it has been my experience that the softer the TPE is, the more likely it is to rip and tear. Why guys want toys/women that feel like the softest of pillows is beyond me, fat is soft and muscle is firm. As men, many of us do a lot to maintain a low bf% over a muscular frame, so I like women to have fit athletic bodies with relatively low bf%, and those bodies feel firm. I want my toys to feel as close as possible to the women I'm attracted to, so firmer TPEs are also more desirable to me because of this aspect. But even if that wasn't the case, I'd still want a *relatively* firm compound to relay the intricacies of the design through touch and feel, all the details inside the tubes that make these things feel so incredible. And Poshtail used a elastomer on this that strikes a great compromise between being firm enough to have the internals feel amazing while still feeling very lifelike when you use your hands to feel the external surfaces. Personally, I would like it if they went a little firmer. However, strictly from a business standpoint, I wouldn't actually advise them to do that since apparently a lot of people who don't know what they're talking about prize "softness" in these toys for whatever misguided reasons they may have. I'd definitely buy a firmer one for myself though if they made it available. And to be clear, firm doesn't mean hard, nobody wants a toy made out of the same nylon as a cutting board. As far as the actual feeling of the internals, it's freaking fantastic! When you use this thing for the first time, it's going to be incredible. It grabs you so tight that you might be concerned you're gonna need someone to hose you down with cold water to separate you from it when you're done, I can't even begin to describe how good it feels. Unfortunately, this initial super kung-fu grip does wear off, literally every single toy made of this material will experience the same loosening with use. I haven't ever used a single one that retained the same degree of "clamping force" from the first use to the last use. What does differ, is how quickly they stretch (and whether they tear). And surprise, the softer elastomers are the worst for experiencing both of these undesirable aspects of the material. You can absolutely tell the difference between the two passages, even if you were blindfolded. Mentally/visually, I prefer the staff entrance, but the physical sensation from the front is better on this particular model. That's not to take anything away from the back though. Initially it felt better than the front, but once that initial grip went away and it wasn't much tighter than the front, it doesn't feel as good as the front does. I believe that some more aggressive texturing inside the back may very well address this, so hopefully they take this feedback into account for new models. Please don't let my over-attention to detail give you a negative impression though, this is the best feeling model that I currently own and has been being used the most frequently as of late because of this. Do I feel that this toy is perfect and is Poshtail's personal Mona Lisa? No, I don't; I can think of a few things that I'd improve upon. However, I will say that it's currently one of the best choices on here within its price range, easily top 10% and very likely top <5%. Like you truly can't go wrong with buying it, it's money well spent and I have absolutely no regrets about my purchase. If you aware of a similar-sized torso doll in this price range that's better than this, please point me to it. I've only had it for a few weeks now, so I can't assess its durability confidently enough to stake my word on it. However, I currently have no reasons to suspect it will wear out and fail sooner than expected, and a lot of times I can tell beforehand. This is my first time buying anything from this manufacturer, but after I submit this review I'm going to browse their other products and hope that the quality of whatever else I select is on par with this one because I know I'll be happy with it if so. If you're still reading this novel of a review, you're obviously pretty interested in getting one of these, go ahead and do it with confidence.
