Very helpful
It is good to have the right tools for the job. This set of tools was extremely helpful in taking apart a Kindle to replace the battery. There were different devices to pry open the device and the right screwdrivers for the tiny screws on the Kindle. With replacement batteries relatively inexpensive, this tool kit allowed me to give New Life to two old kindles. I also used YouTube videos on replacing the battery for specific handles. Read more

You get plenty of tools in this set however they are not the most durable. Fine for a few DIY jobs though. A pro might use similar tools and just buy in bulk. Read more

I purchased this to disassemble a Roku remote. I removed the microphone for privacy and security reasons. I also removed functionality to the Netflix, Disney, and other buttons. I HATE commercials with a passion! When we pick up the remote to mute the commercials, we often accidentally select something we didn't want. I disassembled the remote and cut off the contacts so these buttons can not be used. I only wanted this remote for the rechargable feature, not for all of the buttons I never use. Read more
