I bought this as a baby-shower gift for a new mom who didn’t have a long registry, and it’s a solid option if you want one box that covers a lot of basics at once. The woven basket presentation is genuinely nice, and the set feels thoughtfully rounded out with clothing, small accessories, and a few “keepsake” items (like the milestone pieces and soft toy) that make it feel more special than a pile of random onesies. The main thing to know is that “ready to gift” can be a little optimistic. Several reviewers mention it arriving with items individually packaged and needing some assembly, plus the balloon. If you’re bringing it to a shower, plan a little time to fluff/arrange everything so it looks like the photos. Also, the fabrics are hit-or-miss: the outfits tend to be the best part, while some of the cloth items (blankets/bibs/burp cloth) sound thinner and more “stroller cover” than cozy blanket. Overall, it’s a convenient, good-looking gift for the person who wants to show up with something complete and coordinated, but it’s not the same as hand-picking higher-quality individual pieces at the same price. This baby boy gift basket does not come assembled, but it is not too difficult to assemble yourself and therefore you have the creative freedom. This is a pretty quick way to get something together quickly without needing to source a bunch of separate items (which can be super stressful, trust me, I've done it). I wouldn't say they're all the best quality, but everything is pretty decent and workable. I do think it's a little overpriced for the overall quality, I think you could get some big brand, tried and tested items and end up at a pretty similar cost. But again, this is meant to be simple and quick, which it is. Read more
This is a complete baby shower gift for sure. It comes in 22 pieces in a cardboard box which is a bit messy and could be more organized but not a great deal. It has everything you may need for a baby boy from pajama, bib, balloons and so on. Of course, you can focus on getting that is more specific and may be more useful to the parents but if you are not sure, this package cannot go wrong. Most of the items are pretty high-quality (at least, they seem to be) but there are one or two that are maybe slightly less quality such as the blanket. Everything has cute animal patterns on them or just designed with an animal shape like the bath towel. Every fabric is pretty soft and should be super comfortable on the skin which is a great addition for small kids. The set is good for new born boys, maybe up to 1-1.5 years old. The price may seem a bit high but knowing that you get a complete set that has everything in it, this set is a very convenient gift and that is an addition to what you are paying for. Overall, I would recommend this set if you are looking for a complete set and don’t know much about a good baby shower gift. Read more
The basket arrived already filled, the woven sides holding their shape while each piece sat stacked in soft layers inside. Lifting the top cloth revealed smaller items tucked beneath, the textures shifting from smooth cotton to thicker towel fabric as everything was moved around. A pair of socks rested near the edge, their openings staying wide instead of collapsing, while the folded outfits kept their form without creasing deeply. The plush elephant sat upright in the center, the stitching firm enough to hold its shape when pressed lightly. Along one side, the cloth book and discs were grouped together, their flat surfaces sliding out easily without catching. The blue bow and balloon sat separate in the wrapping, and the basket itself felt stable when carried, the base staying flat while the contents remained neatly contained inside. Read more
I have mixed feelings about this basket. Based on the description, I was under the impression that it came assembled. Much to my surprise it came in a small box with all pieces individually wrapped and needing to be assembled and balloon blown up. On one hand, it is a lot of fairly nice stuff. And it doesn’t follow any theme so it’s kind of good for anyone - there’s elephants, dinosaurs, sea animals, outer space and zoo animals. Some of the items feel cheap and stiff (the bibs and burp cloth) but might soften and become more absorbent with washing. The blankets feel more like something you’d drape over the stroller or car seat to keep out wind or sunlight. They’re not really blanket material. There was a blue beaded pack clip, that I didn’t see in the listing. The hooded fuzzy blanket is cute, but the design feels like it should be a towel, but it is fuzzy and not absorbent, so definitely a blanket. My favorite item is the striped pj’s. They’re cute and so soft! All of the clothes (pjs and onesies) are size 6 months. This basket offers a wide variety of stuff that really will be used through baby’s first year - including the monthly photo wooden markers to photograph with baby. This is an ok gift. I can’t tell if I feel the value is there. It seems like you could pick out similar items of nicer quality for the same price. But if you value a once and done approach where everything arrives at once, in coordinating colors, this might be very valuable to you. The basket is reusable, which is nice. It’s not huge though. Overall a decent basket if you’re looking for a simple, pretty useable, baby gift. But expect to do some assembling. There’s no basket filler so, as you can see in my photo, it doesn’t make a great presentation (I didn’t blow up the balloon or add the ribbon or add the card) with no filler. The photos below show how it came, everything out of the box and unwrapped, and put back in the basket. Read more
