For a test run, I used these magnets with photos I had adjusted in Photoshop and then printed them using the True2Color setting with NO adjustments. The color profile was Coated GRACOL 2006 (ISO 12-647-2:2004). I printed to the Brother SP-1 and used heat tape to secure the magnets to the print. (At first I thought there must be a film on the magnet, as there is on many sublimation blands, but there was none.) I pressed these using a Cricut Easy Press 3 set on 350 degrees F for 40 seconds, as specified on the amazon website. (Thank you sellers for including this information.) These magnets came out absolutely perfect and true to color. I usually use a heat press for sublimation but since these were so small, I thought I'd use the Cricut Easy Press to see what happened. I was pleasantly surprised! The clarity of the prints was stunning, the colors were as close to my calibrated monitor as I've ever seen, and the sublimation worked without a hitch. These magnets are very thin and warp with sublimation. They do have a very pretty sparkly coating on them so the colors turn out vibrant. They only stick to the refrigerator and not to other metal surfaces like a lap top. Read more

Felt like the quality of the magnets was good - I mean they stuck to the fridge - but I had to do some heavy research to find the temp and time for sublimation settings - also remember to always cut your image a little bigger than than the magnet so you don't have any white lines or border strips on the sides. All my photo magnets turned out well but a couple of them did wrinkle because they might have been under the press for too long = so be careful of that. I did a 350 degree 10 second butcher paper prepress to warm up the blank, to get all moisture out (very important) and then pressed with butcher paper for 355 degree/60 second press using a cricut press. For the most part great but a couple did wrinkle, all under the same settings. Read more

I really like the size and the quality of the colors once sublimated. But I noticed that some magnets are separating from the sublimation part. I’m not going to sell them until I find out for sure if they all will separate. I tested one of the magnets that is separating it’s super easy to pull apart and then it sticks back together. So the glue they are using is tacky but never hardens. This is concerning. I’m not exactly sure if I need to put glue on all the edges or what to do. I had already ordered a big rotating magnet display and more magnets before I noticed what was happening. I don’t want customers to be angry but I also don’t want to make more work for myself by separating all the edges and gluing them just to make sure. If the manufacturer could use a stronger glue that would be great. Read more
