Great inserts at a great price. I wear an 11 1/2 M and the 11-12 fit perfectly. Make sure you remove whatever flimsy insole is in your current shoes, don't put these on top of them, replace them. If you've never worn an insert with a metatarsal "bump" it may take a little getting used to. But you WILL get used to it. That's the reason I bought these in the first place, metatarsal pain on the treadmill. These do the job. I do an hour of HIIT treadmill training 4 days a week and these have held up great after about 3 months of use. I have 3 pair of shoes I use on the treadmill (you shouldn't use the same pair over and over) and I just switch the inserts out, easy. I could just buy another 2 pair but these are holding up great, there's really no reason to do that. The arch support and heel cup are also comfortable. UPDATE: After using these 5 days a week for 90 minutes of cardio at the gym they are holding up well. I'm going to order a second pair so I can swap them out each day. Ordered as a replacement pair for a high end brand I purchased from a local running franchise. So far these are sturdy, sized right and provide the quality heal and arch support that I need for long walks. I've tried other brands and I feel these were definitely worth the purchase. I’ve bought these for every pair of shoes in frequently use, no trimming to fit required. They helped alleviate my ball of foot pain and have kept it from recurring. Only issue is the top layer has a tendency to come to detached, though these are usable without it. Read more
This is just what my therapist ordered. It is working well for me. On my right foot, the arch collapses as I stand and my therapist suggested that it might help if I got this type of insert. It is helping! They were comfortable immediately. On the injured foot, I did not notice anything. On the other foot it took just a bit to adjust to the Metatarsal pad but not bad at all. These are the BEST shoe insert EVER! I use them for all my shoes. At first, I only bought one set. But I had to keep switching it to other shoes. I bought a different, orange-colored brand, and they work great too, but I really like these. I ended up buying several more of these inserts. Now I don't have to keep switching them into other shoes. People should never wear tight shoes to start out with because you will possibly end up with toe and ball of your foot pain when you get older, so buy the next 1/2 size larger or wider, if needed, so your shoes will be more comfortable. These inserts don't really take up that much room in my shoes; they don't make my shoes feel too tight either. I bought them because I spent many hours on my feet and I had pain in my feet. From the first day I felt relief. They are firm but comfortable and adapt well to shoes. I get home with much less tiredness and pain. Highly recommended. Read more
These didn’t work for me because I have weird problems with my feet, so it’s no reflection on these orthotics. In fact when I saw a podiatrist who makes custom orthotics, I showed him these. I was a little embarrassed because I paid so little for them. I thought for sure he would laugh at me, but he said that this is very comparable to something that he would custom make for me himself. They are very firm, which is something that I wasn’t able to see in the pictures if you’re looking for good, firm arch support that doesn’t mush down. I highly recommend these.
