I was looking for a "travel" charger so that I didn't have to unplug and detangle my orginal power supply every time I leave for several hours, and this is the best I could find. It fits the specs for an Eluktronics Laptop power supply perfectly (19.5V,11.8A, 230W) and a 5.5mm tip. It is the same width and length (6" x 3") and only a quarter inch thicker (1-5/16 vs 1-1/16) than the original, so I'll use this one for my workstation and the original for travel. And it was only $56 vs an OEM replacement for $100. Works fine for now, and doesn't get very warm at all. Since I'm using it full time, I'll know how good it is within weeks/months. Read more

The factory charger that came along with my MSI GS76 shorted out after 2 years of heavy use. As for how good this product is in terms of longevity, I cannot say, however it's working perfectly as a replacement providing a strong and stable charging connection. It comes with 2 extra dongles that accommodate for different port sizes. EDIT: Charger started to overheat after a weeks use and started to emit a burnt plastic smell and disconnects frequently. My MSI gaming laptop is a couple years old now, so the battery doesn't quite hold up like it used to. I was only able to play AAA games for about 10 minutes before the battery would discharge completely, even while plugged into the original 150w power supply. This 230w power supply keeps the games going and the battery topped up. The included adapters allowed me to be able to use this product with no issue. Read more

I'm using this as a backup power supply. Now, I can keep the original secured to my desk and have an option for one on the go. This is particularly useful for these MSI laptops since their battery life is generally under an hour when using it for graphics and animation production. Read more

Works for my Eluktronics Mech-15 G3, but I started noticing poor performance during some games. After doing some troubleshooting, I discovered that if it's flat side down, it gets extra hot and my performance drops in-game. So I have to place it with the thin side on the floor to make sure it stays cool enough. I'm glad there's a way to make it work, but this is dumb. I should have just bought the brand that came with my G3 instead of going for the budget option. Read more
