This is an excellent surge protector! With that being said...not all surge protectors are the same. There are a few things you should consider when purchasing a surge protector such as whether or not it has a UL Certification. You should consider the Joule rating and whether or not it is appropriate for the load you're going to be stressing it with. The standard is typically 1000-2000 joules, but surge protectors over 2000 joules is recommended. Clamping voltage should also be considered. It determines when the protector starts stopping voltage. Indicator lights are helpful to determine when the protector is either powered on, or tripped. Also consider the cord length and the spacing between outlets vs any transformer plugs that will be plugged in. With all of that being said, this surge protector is of high quality, has adequate spacing between outlets and has 1 USB-C and 3 USB-A (standard) ports.
