These worked out really well for us, making two old controllers comfortably usable again. One controller's original rubber thumb grip had completely worn/torn off, and, despite the warnings on the product page above, these silicone caps have worked out even for that one. Without any of the original rubber underneath, there's a little bit of wiggle to the silicone cap that some might find unpleasant, but it's so much better-feeling than the bare plastic, and it's yet to fall off on its own. I was expecting to need, perhaps, a dab of glue, or maybe a bit of extra material to fill the tiny bit of extra space, but so far we've just been happy enough with it as-is. The other controller's original rubber grip had warn down enough to split, but not yet fall off, and these silicone caps have fit absolutely perfectly over that one. (And as a bonus, since we'll never need all 28 of these, I've been successfully using some of the extras to lift a laptop a bit off a desk surface.) I got this large of a pack because I wanted the variety of colors and to have enough for my older controllers as well as my newer ones. They can be tricky to put on but work well although a tad tight for a PS3 controller as it has thicker knobs. I was impressed that they work on the thin plastic that is the Dreamcast controllers although they do spin slightly. Thankfully the material with the circular textured design on the Dreamcast controllers makes the spinning minimal. They definitely raise the height slightly and I’m still unsure how I feel about the textured top these have but agree with others that they can be polarizing. Overall, it is difficult to beat the quality for price on these and the color variety but be warned that the textured top can be an issue for some. Read more

My kids somehow ripped all the rubber from my joysticks on my Xbox controllers. These are an excellent replacement. They slide right on and have a tight fit, are very grippy and I like the color schemes. Read more
