Gloppy hot mess
No, no, NO! I truly wanted this eyebrow gel & lamination gel to work, because I get tired of drawing on my eyebrows every day, and while this would not have been a permanent solution, I am always willing to try new brow products to find something that works well for me. This did not. The container is dual-sided, one side (I chose brown) is like a gloppy, sticky mascara with brush, while the other side is a clear setting gel with brush (also sticky). First, I applied the brown color on my brows. One brow looked 'meh', then I tried the other brow and made the mistake of getting some of the brown color UNDER the eyebrow hairs and on the skin there. It made a muddy mess as I tried to remove the staining from my skin. I started over on that eyebrow, and applied the color to JUST the eyebrow hairs, being very careful not to get any on the skin beneath. Then I used the other side of the tube to apply the clear (sticky) lamination gel. The effect when I looked in the mirror was shiny, wet, gloppy-looking brows. Not natural or soft at all. I used an oil-base makeup remover to remove as much of the product as possible. If you were using the brighter colors offered, for Halloween, a party, etc. it might be ok, but it does not look natural for everyday use. I may use just a touch of the clear lamination gel to 'set' my eyebrows once in awhile, or go back to spraying a little super-hold hairspray on a tiny brush to set them, that always works. Read more
