My dog tears up just about everything, but after a week he hasn't taken a nick out of these balls. They are light and can't be thrown too far without a thrower, but they float very high and don't get lost in the surf at the beach. Good for in the house too, they don't mark up the walls and they bounce well without taking out any lamps. Bright, easily visible colors. A good price for a truly tough dog ball that's hard to lose. Dog won't pick it up

My German shepherd's favorite thing in life are balls. Tennis balls, Kong balls, Nerf balls, spikey balls, fuzzy balls, my cat's toy balls... you name it he loves them. He is a fetch machine inside and outside of the house. He is gentle with most balls unless they are dollar store tennis balls then he will peel it like an apple or foam balls he will break apart piece by piece. Unfortunately he WILL NOT pick these balls up. I don't know if they have an unpleasant odor that only he can smell or what. I throw it and he runs after it then walks away. I roll it in the house and again he just smells it and walks away. His reaction is very odd. The texture of the balls are like a thick foam? and claims to be "indestructible" so I was looking forward to seeing if he could tear it apart like he does other foam balls to give an accurate review. If he decides to play with them one day I will update my review but as of now all I can say is they feel firm but have a little bit of give to them. The white and orange are great because I can see them in the grass very easily. The size is perfect for a large breed. My 1.5 year old German Shepherd just doesn't like them for some reason.
