Ate all the cupcake holes and then realized I had nothing to put in the cupcake holes. All I could find was these little chocolate chunks that said ex-lax on them, whatever that is. I liked them enough for the purpose of getting a cupcake hollowed out to fill (it has been the best tool I've used in regards to that)...BUT they didnt come with instructions (why would instructions be necessary for something so "simple") the maroon piece does not come out. It only moves within the clear chamber. I had found it kinda hard to get it to stay up to use on cupcakes...because if you dont get it 'stuck' it falls and doesnt core the cupcake. So it was a constant shake to keep it 'stuck', core, try to get the cake out and THEN do it all over again. With that piece not coming out...its also super difficult to clean; its too narrow to even fit a toothpick in to clean it out...you cant really run water through it because it has a suction that doesnt get the water in and out; I considered just throwing it away since it came with two but ultimately was able to get it clean between using a toothpick, running water and soaking then also putting it into the dish washer just to be safe. For what I paid and the purpose; it was "worth it" because it did get the job done really well. It just has more downsides that I feel should be addressed/corrected. I will most likely use it again if I need it but I would not purchase it again with what I now know. Read more
