Ok, real talk. For those of us who understand that toilet paper is not enough, bidets are essential fixtures of our bathrooms. Once you're done wiping with TP, you use water (and a pH balanced soap) for a more thorough clean. Just like how you do it in the shower. And just like you wash your hands with water and soap after going to the bathroom because you know that wiping your hands with paper wouldn't get them clean. Think about it. It's feces and urine, people. If they touched any other part of your body, would you just wipe them off with dry paper and call it a day? I didn't think so. :) (And before you protest that you use wet wipes, remember that intimate wipes are really bad for you). These bottles are excellent substitutes for actual bidets when you travel or if you don't have one in your house. I got the 2 pack, and it includes 2 bottles (pink and blue), 2 cases, 2 angled nozzles (that's what you want), and 2 straight nozzles (according to the instructions, those are for spraying babies when you change them). The bottle holds a very good amount of water, and if you keep squeezing it creates a continuous flow, which is very effective. My only nitpicking comment is that I wish the nozzle was shorter. Ergonomically, it's a little too long, which means you have to lift up over the toilet to make room to use it. But otherwise, these are excellent. I especially appreciate that the nozzle fits fully inside the bottle when you store it, so it takes up less space in your suitcase. I highly recommend these! Read more

This is the second set of these types of "bidet bottles" that I've used. I like that the wand can slide into the bottle so they fit in the storage "ziplock bag" without removing the cap and when extended, the wand does not leak. The angle spray head does a reasonable job of creating multiple streams of water to aid in cleaning without creating a wide spray (I do not use the straight nozzle that is also included). The remainder of this review can easily apply to this, and any similar bottle. These types of bidet bottles are a definite improvement over using TP alone. They hold sufficient water to rinse/wash your nether regions. Unlike the ones that mount on a toilet and only use the cold water line from your toilet, you can adjust the temperature of the water to suit your liking when filling. Aiming these bottles is easier than one might expect and you can easily direct the spray where it is needed. You do need a little bit of grip strength to get a good spray when you squeeze the bottle, but the reasonably soft plastic bottle isn't too difficult. The only things about this type of solution that are less convenient are: - You do need to fill the bottle before use instead of just pressing a button. - They are still a bit bulky to just carry along anywhere. We use these bottles at home, in our RV, and on our boat. I find they work well in these situations. I feel they are a bit too bulky to just carry along with you anywhere and would be a bit of a hassle to use in a public restroom. You cannot pre-fill the bottle and store it in the storage bag as they will leak this way. Overall, I like this solution. We have thought about getting the style that mounts to a toilet seat, but the minor inconvenience of dealing with the bottle hasn't been an issue and I like being able to control the water temperature. You also don't have to modify any plumbing or spend any time installing these, so I recommend giving them a try. Read more

My better half has an extensive global history and keeps adding more to the list. My own started with military assignments and a few other countries with her. I can say that I actually lived in another country versus her just visiting them. She really has no desire to go to the places that I want to visit/revisit and vice versa. We traveled to Spain and I ended up spraying water all over the bathroom. It was my first time seeing a working bidet. I still don't quite get the concept as I will shower afterwards if I am at home/hotel. I have practiced with mine, so I can be comfortable. The bottles seem to be durable enough to be used long term. The resealable pouches offer discretion as I can slip it into my larger sling bag. Read more

Toilet paper just doesn't clean well by itself and flushable wipes aren't good for the environment no matter what they tell you. Using a bidet is a much better option. Of course, we don't have any bidets in our home (yet), but my husband is looking into adding them. These portable bidets do a decent job and when used before toilet paper, it's almost like using a wipe. It does seem like a lot of trouble to go through. I supposed you could always keep one full of water until you're ready to use it. They can be used for travel, but they're not super compact so they will take up space. Read more

We have bidets in our house and one of our complaints when we travel is the lack of them. We decided to try this out, just in case it would work. Truly, we didn't mind this too much. Granted, its definitely not as good as a true bidet, but its a decent substitute. Where it really came in handy was for the baby. She still uses diapers, and we do use wipes on the go, but having the spouted water allowed us to get her clean while travelling. She definitely felt more comfortable after using it. Read more

This is handy to have. The bottles are a little bit larger for traveling, but depending on the type need you have, it could be just fine. If you're backpacking and don't have a lot of space, this might not be for you. If you're using in your home for postpartum care, or have this for emergency preparedness or everyday camping, this would be nice. This is fairly easy to put together and use. One of the wands was larger than the other and neither of the smaller nozzle attachments would work on it. The stream is steady and would provide the relief or extra clean that you might be looking for. The wand collapses back down into the bottle for easier storage and the zipper containers it comes with for storage is a nice extra touch. Read more
