disappointed
This moving dog ball was a big disappointment. It only lasted about 10 minutes before my dog chewed right through it. The material is really cheap and not durable at all, plus it's so small that it's not even safe for bigger dogs. Definitely not worth the money. Read more
Decent Interactive Toy, But Lacks Durability
I purchased the LONNIY Shaky Ball Toy for Dogs for my energetic pup, hoping it would provide some interactive entertainment and help keep him occupied when I’m busy. While the concept is great and it has some solid features, the durability leaves much to be desired. Features: ✔ Bite-Resistant TPR Material – The outer shell is made of high-strength TPR material, which is supposed to be durable and resistant to biting. However, this claim doesn’t entirely hold up for strong chewers. ✔ USB Rechargeable – I appreciate that it doesn’t require batteries; a single USB charge lasts about an hour, which is decent for a short play session. ✔ Interactive Shaking & Vibrating Motion – The automatic movement keeps my dog engaged, though it doesn't always respond consistently. ✔ Portable & Lightweight – It’s small and easy to take along for travel or outdoor play. ✔ Non-Slip Texture – The textured surface does make it easier for dogs to grip and carry. Pros: ✅ Engaging and Fun – My dog was immediately interested in the movement and vibration, which kept him entertained for a while. ✅ Good for Light Play & Small/Medium Dogs – If your dog isn’t a strong chewer, this toy can be a fun addition to their playtime. ✅ Easy to Use & Charge – Simple operation and quick USB charging are convenient. Cons: ❌ Not Very Durable – The biggest downside. Within a couple of play sessions, the outer shell started showing wear, and I wouldn’t trust it to last long with a larger, stronger dog. Definitely not for aggressive chewers. ❌ Motion Can Be Unpredictable – Sometimes the ball doesn’t respond as expected, stopping randomly or not shaking as much as advertised. ❌ Battery Life Could Be Better – While an hour of play is okay, it would be nice if it lasted longer between charges. Final Thoughts: This Shaky Ball Toy is a fun, interactive distraction for dogs, but it’s best suited for light chewers and smaller dogs. The durability is a major concern, especially for bigger breeds or dogs that like to chew aggressively. If your pup is gentle and just enjoys chasing and nudging toys, it might work well.
