The price is right, and the cases themselves feel solid enough. The metal body is fine, but I’m not a fan of the plastic window. It looks a little cheaper than pictured, and both of mine came with the window slightly warped. Not a dealbreaker, but I would have preferred a solid lid if I had known it would look like this. Another small gripe is that the lids come completely off instead of hinging open like an Altoids tin. That makes them harder to deal with one-handed. I often use small cases like this while standing in line or walking through the city, and I find myself fumbling with the two separate pieces of these lids more than I would with a hinged design. But, they’re handy for keeping small items from rolling loose in my bag. I don’t use them for swabs. I more often carry things like gum, rolled-up latex gloves, tweezers, toothpicks, or loose change. This little case is great for travel and fits perfectly in my shaving kit. I like that the clear window lets me see what's inside so I can quickly tell which case has what. Standard cotton swabs fit just right without getting bent, and it keeps them clean and easy to grab. I also tried it with my angled flossers, and while they don't pack in as many because of their shape, they still fit nicely and stay organized. The metal build feels sturdy, and the lid snaps shut well enough that I'm not worried about it opening in my bag. It's small enough to tuck into a pocket or side pouch without taking up space. Having one case for swabs and another for flossers makes it easier to keep things neat while traveling. For the price, it's a solid and practical item to have on hand.
