I was blown away how nice the monitors are for the price. I have used them for normal computing and working with 3d models. they have worked great and have not seen a difference from much higher priced setups. Nice clear image and the colors look good. These are fine monitors. Bright, crisp, and excellent color. No complaints on image quality, at all. I can't believe they're available for the price being offered. Built-in speakers are plenty loud, provide good sound quality, and not outwardly visible. The monitors are actually too big for my preference. This is entirely a "me" problem, but at typical desk sitting distance, I have to turn my head to see things on the outside edges of the screens. Not a big deal, but one of these probably would have been sufficient, or two smaller monitors. Some minor criticisms: the cables supplied are too short. They're about 4 feet long, which is not nearly long enough for the average two-monitor setup. The power adapters are about the same length, so be aware that you will likely need to buy longer HDMI cables and extensions for the DC power connectors. The monitors are also fitted with VGA inputs and 3.5mm audio jack inputs AND outputs for using the internal speakers when using a VGA cable. VGA cables and audio cables are not supplied. You will probably not need these, as there is a 90% chance you will use HDMI, which transmits both video and audio signals to the monitors. Be prepared to buy DC power extension cords (5.5x2.1mm connector) in either case, and longer HDMI cables OR VGA cables plus 3.5mm audio cables. Second, the frame around the monitors is a bit thick, about 1/2" on the sides. When using two of these monitors side-by-side, there will be about an inch total of black in between the monitors. Not a big deal for most people, but "frameless" monitors may be a better fit if this bothers you. Read more
