I read some reviews of these "washable" rugs and expected this to be really bad BUT, I was pleasantly surprised! It is a beautiful rug and nice and soft. The price can't be beat for the size! Unfortunately it just did not look so good with my other decor. I ordered another "washable" rug from another brand and that one looked very cheesy, so much so that I didn't even bother opening it, and it was in a smaller box so obviously much thinner than this one. Of the five 2X3 rugs recently purchased for a high traffic area, this one is the best. The colors are dark enough to hide dirt and mud but not too dark to mask the pretty design and floral pattern. It is truly slip resistant and washed up well (though it was only the first time washed to I cannot vouch for durability).
