READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!!
Ok, this description is totally misleading. It states: "3.5 Inch Capacitive Touchscreen Monitor, 480x320 LCD HDMI Display Screen. Support 5 Point Touch, Colorful TFT Touch Screen with Stylus Pen for Raspberry Pi, for Win7 Win8 Win10 System, Drive-Free" Brand Wendry Screen Size 3.5 Inches Hardware Interface USB, HDMI Connectivity Technology USB, HDMI Display Technology LCD About this item HDMI DISPLAY SCREEN: 3.5 inch HDMI display screen with 480x320 colorful resolution, high resolution picture, fast response time. IPS 178° large wide viewing angle gives you a crystal-clear viewing experience of all your content ----------------------------------------------- There is NOT HDMI, there is NO USB, it connects via the GPIO pins, and there are NO instructions on how to configure and use it with the raspberry pi. This would not work with and Windows version. I believe they cut and pasted the description for a completely different product that uses HDMI to interface which would make the description more believable. It is deceiving as no picture of the back (as I show) and that would clearly show there is no HDMI port. Further the photos in the description are completely doctored; they are much higher resolution and the photo of the hand over the display is ridiculous. Save yourself some time, money and a great deal of frustration and look elsewhere. Read more
Wish I would have seen this review before buying myself.
AVOID THIS SELLER (Wendryer) if they cannot even list their products with accurate information -you shouldn't trust them to sell you anything. So as the other reviewer stated, this is NOT a HDMI capable device. It appears to be a 3.5inch screen, with 480x320 listed on the PCB, But it has a GPIO header to use, and when I tried, something fried/popped/smoked on my pi4, so I suspect some terrible manufacturing job there. So now I have no hdmi screen to use, no pi4 to use elsewhere in another project, and now I am supposed to "return the product" taking my time, gas and energy to take it up to be re-shipped (and probably resold to someone else?) sorry.. that is unacceptable.
