I'm reviewing Mistcado 3 Barrel Curling Iron, 1 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Waver Wand with LCD Temperature Display, Fast Heating Foldable Crimpers, Gold. This is my first time using a 3 barrel curling iron. I have to say I'm impressed with the results. It get's hot fast. I have thin, long waist length hair. I used the waver for about 6 to 7 seconds before moving down the length of the hair section. It created beautiful lasting waves in my hair. The unit folds in half (see photo) and fits nicely into a the drawer where I keep my heating tools. The LCD digital display is intuitive and easy to read and use. There are 4 temperature levels including 280°F, 320°F, 360°F, and 400°F. The description says gold, but it's really more of the rose gold shown in the description photos (see my photo). The cord seems a little on the thin side, but did not get warm during use. It comes with a heat resistant glove which is a good idea. At first I didn't use it, and my fingers got a bit hot touching the hair that had just been styled. So I started using the glove, and it helped. See photos for package information. This wave curling iron is a bit awkward to handle since it's 3" wide with 2 barrels that stick up when you open it, and I ended up getting my ear a couple times while trying to figure out how to handle it. But, once I got it figured out it wasn't bad and it only took a few minutes to get through my entire head. I have the same style but with much smaller barrels that create almost a crimp sized wave, so I was really excited to try it with 1" barrels. It creates crimped waves that are really reminiscence of the 80's style (my hair likes to poof because it's naturally wavy but I straighten it). I put a little dry shampoo on my roots and I could've easily been set for an 80's throwback party lol. I did get my hands wet and run them through my hair a few times to help tame the poof before taking pictures. With it tamed down it looks pretty good, and with the minimal amount of time and effort it took, this will be a styling tool I keep in my drawer. Read more

I have many hair tools but I've never tried a 3 barrel waver before. I love that this one is so compact... it folds up to a much smaller size that is easier to store. But it is a full size tool when unfolded. It is very simple to use. Although it looks like it could be complicated it is really easy. It does feel a little bit bulky when you first try it, but within a few seconds, you forget about it. I have very straight hair that is past my shoulders and it gives me some nice beachy waves. It comes with a good heat resistant glove. I suggest wearing it as this gets very hot. It has a small metal stand so it doesn't touch the counter and has a long swivel cord. It says it can be used in any country. A nice crimper/ waver at a good price. Read more
