This thing is Fantastic!! .. I have had my eye on getting one of these for awhile but just had not yet made the decision to do so, when (last week!!) I ended up having an emergency appendectomy!! While i was still at the hospital looking up information on how best to recover, I found a statement online where someone said that a massage gun (specifically this style with the ‘swan neck’), helped them move the painful air bubbles that get trapped in your body after surgery. So, of course, I came straight over here to Amazon and I ended up getting this one. The deciding factor for me was that one of the other reviewers mentioned that his wife liked it a lot because it wasn’t too heavy for her, and that it wasn’t big or bulky in her lady-sized hand. I can concur that is the case for me too, and it IS a feature I wanted to (double) mention for others who may not have even thought yet about considering that. I really really like this massage gun!! I can see how some would find it ‘not crazy strong’ and the neck ‘not rod-like sturdy’, and the vibration level sort of ‘fluctuates’ with the amount of pressure you use, but I actually find all of those things to be super beneficial in using it!! .. I like that it’s light weight and somewhat ‘bendy’, and it has many many intensity settings, but I am very content with just using the first 2 or 3, and even though the charge doesn’t really hold forever, it also charges up really really quick, and I think it’s probably good to not use it for longer than 20-30 minutes at a time. I also think (have no real proof of this mind you), but I also think that it IS helping move those post-surgery air pockets that seem to gravitate towards your shoulders and ribcage. Plus, this thing feels amazingly good!! I say all good things about this little massage wand, and if you’re on the fence about it at all, I say go for it!! Battery life is definitely not as advertised. I only get about an hour of actual run time, not the 3-6 hrs advertised. So you'll get about 3 sessions of 20min each before it dies Massager and attachments are solid build quality. Extension arm is nice for massaging back and shoulders. Speed automatically increases under pressure, possibly to compensate for a slightly undersized motor. Too much pressure on the low setting can stall the motor. Overall a good value for the money, just be prepared to charge it often. Read more
