WOW! This is a whole new game when it comes to charging my iPhone (or any phone for that matter). I saw(the AD) that once plugged into the outlet and the phone was put on the magnetic charge station, the phone screen displayed a clock and the calendar with the date highlighted. However, I plugged the charger end into the phone and bypassed the charger outlet. NO CLOCK OR CALENDAR! LESSON LEARNED: use charger port on the actual charger, not the phone plug in. Charging time is QUICK! The quality of the charging unit is very, very, good and really worth the price. I liked it so much I ordered one for a friend...and that says a lot about the product! I gave it four stars because the first one I received was a used one. The box was ripped and taped up. You clearly see that it been used and returned and not just opened. This should have never been sent out as a new item. Found lint and dust on it. Wasn’t too happy. I contacted the seller who then told me to contact Amazon because it shipped from them. They sent me out another on Father’s Day which ended up being a late gift. The first pic is my replacement one. The other 4 are the first one that was sent. REVIEW: The charger is easy to put together and works great so far. Connects and hop in the charging speed is fast as stated. I actually bought this twice and have loved both! I got one for by my bed and love that it is magnetic and also I can out all my devices on the one stand, my AirPods are in a case and is able to charge in the case which is great. It works with both horizontal and vertical charging, and the magnet is super strong! It is sleek and can also travel well, which is why I bought another. Easy to store and also the cord is a usb-c so if you need a longer one it easily can be connected. I got the black and the white, and I like both. Worked great, until it didn’t. 8 months it worked great. Love the design, easy fold up when I travel, the light feature is just enough , but not too bright. But 8 months and it just stopped charging, light wouldn’t come on anymore. I’m really bummed. I loved this charger, but because it only lasted 8 months I will not buy again. Read more
