This light was SO easy to put up. It literally took me less than 10 minutes! I was worried because my ceiling box is NOT level with the wood ceiling around it. This light handled that perfectly! The center stem is adjustable and has plenty of length to mount the fixture and secure the knob that holds it in place. Each light is somewhat moveable, so easy to screw in (or out) bulbs and adjust light direction. This is quality made of a thinner metal which keeps it lightweight for easy of install, but was packaged well, arrived with no damages, and was installed with not doing any damage to it. I’m really happy with this ceiling light. The farmhouse style looks great and instantly upgraded the space without being too flashy. Although we returned this item, we really did like it, and it was to toss it between this one and another one that we selected. Ultimately, we decided not to go with glass. But this had a very good quality feel behind it, and it looked easy to install. We’d ended up, not wanting something that was a hugger type fixture. I found these lights and I was really skeptical if they would be able to provide the bright overhead lighting I prefer for my kitchen, to my surprise with the right LED bulbs THEY ARE BRIGHT!! Bought a home a year ago and we are doing a complete remodel with a farmhouse theme. These lights were for the hallway and boy are they beautiful. We went for the discs because they weren't too deep and we wanted to make the ceilings look taller.
