Compressed gauze is a must have e in a IFAK, trauma, or bleed stopping kit. I like this product for its compact size and for the footage. When packing g a wound footage is your friend and Z folded gauze makes it easier. I have 2 packs in every kit I own and I own more than 6. Read more
Excellent product to add to any kind of trauma kit you may be putting together. I currently use one with a SWAT tourniquet wrapped around it that I keep in a pouch. Strongly recommend taking one an opening it to learn how it is packaged took me a moment to realize how to pull it apart but once I figured it out all good. Read more
Compressed sterile gauze product was vacuum sealed, clearly marked sterile with NSN # and date of expiration of 2023. The product takes up far less room in a Trauma Kit than a corresponding rolled gauze and is to be recommended. Packaging was secure, shipment was swift with five stars to vendor as well. Read more
Purchased these after Stop the Bleed training. Very compact and easy to keep in a kit. Will buy additional ones because of their compactness. Three are included, each individually packaged within a larger plastic overlap. They are vacuum packed hence their compactness. Read more
I was curious about this option - it's handy to have plenty of gauze around, especially if you've taken a Stop the Bleed class or been through an incident with a lot of blood. Gauze is light but a lot of it does take up a fair bit of space (for backpackers, etc.). So is there a way to have lots of gauze in a small space? This product does that. When I first opened the package it was clearly just a brick and thus useless. But then I pulled on it and realized it could be unwrapped, making regular gauze that could be used as usual. So it seems to accomplish the goal. 4 stars because of the extra step. It is critical to have this in a trauma kit, in order to slow/stop bleeding of deep wounds. Watch videos of the method of packing wounds with it to understand the critical value of it. Combined with a celox injector, those stuff saves lives every day. Read more
