I ordered the three pack (two butane, one electric) because at the time it was the best deal. I was looking for an inexpensive every-day-carry lighter that could be used in windy conditions, and thought that butane would be the way to go compared to cheap disposable ones that I've used for years. I've been keeping a butane one on me for some time, and have been very happy with its performance. The flame quality and tunability are great. The water- and wind-proof features are exactly what I was looking for. I've used it to light propane/oxygen torches in my lab, start candles easily, and even start campfires using damp leaves and logs without any problems. The butane lighters are very easy to fill and have a long consumption life. While the electric lighter was more of a novelty to me, it too has a long charge life, starts fires very easily, and I'll be keeping it in my car for emergencies. Overall, these lighters have exceeded my expectations and I'll be carrying them for everyday use, in my car for emergencies, and while camping/hiking/backpacking. I'd recommend these to friends and family members, and will be purchasing more as gifts. Read more

I got tired of malfunctioning lighters. It seemed more cost effective to try these. As it turns out I’m pleased so far with these products so far. I love the electric lighter! As for the torch lighter I don’t know why but I had some issues filling it and I follow the directions word for word. I also wish that I was able to adjust the flame in a more convenient location. I did get the warranty and love it that they offer extra warranty and customer support. Hopefully I won’t need to use it. I am pleased with this purchase so far. Read more
I have used these before, and love them! Had a camouflage one, put it through a lot of punishment. Mine lasted 5 years, though was not a C charger version. Great outdoors and with the lid closed and latched, yes it's waterproof. If you get it wet with the lid off, just let it dry out in the sun or dry place and it will come back after a charge. Only recommend this for the handy people: After you can't return it, mine died. So I pulled the insert out and a wire was broken. I was able to re-solder it. It can burn you or cause a little tingle if you touch it to your lip or finger. So don't. 😝. I think this is great value for what you get. Around me bics are $5 bucks. The other cheaper liters, run out fast and don't like heat and sun. I have not tried the butane yet, but have used other butanes. This looks better built. Both are designed the same and the user interface is similar. I like that the black ones are butane, harder to mix up. I have had a lot of liquid fuel zippo style too, so I think I'll try the inserts they have now next. I hope this review is helpful. Read more
Avoid as they seem to be cheaply made which I should have figured from the price. The ones that use butane will not produce flame consistently so you have to click the igniter multiple times and then suddenly it fails. The electric ones don't seem to hold a charge. You have to carry 2 or more if you want a decent chance of having flame when you need it. Read more
These things are awesome, always light no matter what, and can be refilled regularly. Easy to refill and once broken down, the price is much cheaper that buying a lighter at the dollar store. Between price of lighters, shipping and fuel, your cost is about $.22 per lighter for 90 full lighters. Make the investment up front to save on lighters for years to come. Read more
