This mat is good but not perfect. Overall it helped with wicking moisture and sweat and allowing me to do hot yoga without slipping and sliding all over my mat. So it does what it is set out to do! However I would say that the measurements are slightly off and the fabric hurts my hands after an hour yoga session. The mat is very long which is not necessarily a problem but just something to note. The fabric is good at preventing slipping and stays on the yoga mat well but because of that, it was scratchy and hard and hurt my hands after awhile. I love these. They aren't super thick, but they are absorbent and work perfectly to go on top of a yoga mat to catch sweat. This way you can throw them in the washer and dryer as they function like a mat cover. Also, the rubber dots on the one side are great for nonslip. They work on the floor but also when the towel is on a mat. Everything stays in place regardless of what moves you do. These towels are great! I work out in group classes outdoors under a large tented area on some kind of harder mats and I bring one of these to class, place it on my harder mat, then put my yoga mat over that to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of my mat. These towels are a little longer than my standard sized mat so it holds in place well. These hold the grip easily during some light cardio, weightlifting, and barre classes. A 2-pack for $24 is pretty good, and since these are washable where a yoga mat isn't, they are easy to clean and maintain. I've been washing in a large garment bag every 1-2 weeks an then hanging to dry. They dry quickly enough that they don't need to be tossed in the dryer, but I also want the grippy dots to last longer and suspect that not putting in the dryer will help with that. Read more

I use this in my hot yoga class over a foam mat provided by the gym, and it is an improvement over using a cotton gym towel over a foam mat. The most important thing is that the yoga towel is the same size as the gym mat and the nonslip dots keep it from moving around. I think the friction could be better on the upper surface of the towel, but it isn't worse than the cotton gym towel I was using and maybe slightly better. It does a good job absorbing sweat in the class and it feels good on the skin. Overall, I think it makes my time in the yoga class more enjoyable and for that reason it is well worth the investment. I honesty can't believe I didn't get this sooner. I was convinced it wasn't worth bringing back and forth to wash since the gym towels are washed by the gym, but it is worth it for me now that I have tried it. Read more
