I was a tad skeptical after reading the reviews, but if you have a "mouthy" dog that always needs something to hold, then it's wonderful. The squeaker only lasted about 5 minutes, which concerned me as I figured she would chew it into pieces after that. It is now inside of the ball, which is fine with me, as I wouldn't want to hear it all day every day, and doesn't seem to matter to her. The durability of the ball (even with squeaker pushed inside) is fantastic! She loves the texture on it for rolling it around in her mouth and chewing on it most of the day. I bought a 2 pack the first time, and just bought more as she plays with them so much all over the house, and then forgets where they are, or they roll under, or behind things, and are temporarily lost. These balls can stand up to rigorous chewing by a 100 pound mouthy German Shepherd, and are a wonderful value for the money! Read more

Since balls seem to disappear much like socks in the washing machine, I was immediately attracted to these because of the price...three for $10.00. I liked the colors and the varying shapes on the surface of the ball were attractive (although I will admit that I was puzzled as to why the pink balls in a set of three were more expensive). The description of their resistance to aggressive chewers was worth a gamble as well. So, why not? Why not, was because of the squeakers. I was not fond of the idea of squeaking toys, however the ad stated that the squeaker could be disabled quite easily. So, I ventured into the unknown and ordered the balls. They arrived quickly and were an immediate hit. The only problem was, now our dog had to decide which one he wanted. I took matters into my own hands and punched the squeaker device into the ball with a wooden skewer. But alas, when he chews down on the ball and air is expelled, a bit of a squeak still escapes. He carries one of the balls around almost all the time, and he even tries to sneak it into his bed in our bedroom at nighttime. When one of the balls gets away from him, he comes and gets me to retrieve it from under a cupboard, behind the toilet, or where ever it has escaped his grasp. He is an avid chewer but has not chewed through or even punctured one of these balls. He does not seem to favor one over the other, but if one of us picks up one of the balls, he quickly drops his for ours. On rainy days these balls have been a big help. They can be rolled for him to chase and retrieve; they stay on the path without veering thither and yon. My husband will sneak and bounce the balls in the house for the dog to catch, and they do not go haywire on the bounce but remain on the appropriate trajectory. All in all, this was a most worthy $10.00 investment in my dog's entertainment and happiness. He has enjoyed them so much, that I am planning to give a set to my "niece dog" for Christmas and will order an extra set for our dog because as we all know, balls are like socks in a washing machine! Two months later: These three little balls have been our dog's best friends. He carries one in his mouth almost constantly. He has not destroyed them, but he has punctured them. Also the tops (yes, I know it is round and has no top or bottom, but two areas are circular and appear to have been added or somehow molded differently to attach to the ball) of the balls have begun to separate from the body. This has not precluded play, but does interfere with the bounce quality. Over the past two months these balls have been an unending source of entertainment for not only our dog but also us. On rainy days we have been able to roll the ball inside and bounce it gingerly for playtime and more importantly to expend energy. since he hates the rain. Even though I have ordered a different set of balls, these still do their job although now, they are his outside balls instead of inside. Top 3 Likes: -Soft yet durable, brightly colored, squeaker can be disabled -Surface indentations facilitate teeth cleaning -Bounce true to trajectory unless pierced by teeth Top 3 Dislikes: -The teeth cleaning indentations also harbor thick, dog slobber -The end sections seem to be pieced together and may become separated from the mid-section -Squeaker is loud Read more

[OVERALL VALUE] - Overall I think these balls offer a great value for the price you pay (I paid ~$10 for 3). The shell is durable and makes the ball bouncy enough for me to dribble it to myself on hardwood, sidewalks, etc. It has a variety of tread patterns / varied topography which makes it roll in unpredictable ways. My puppy was convinced the ball was alive due to the way it's tread makes it roll in this manner. The varied surfaces also provide a variety of chewing footholds and textures. All the balls have a chemical smell when you first open the package. Not quite like the smell of a freshly opened tin of tennis balls but similarly distinctive. A wash with dish soap seemed to remove the smell for me. Like a tennis ball, the smell dissipated further with use. The balls are hard to squeeze unless your squeezing perpendicular to the squeaker hole. I've had the balls for about 5 days and already one of the ball's squeaker has gone quiet. So, while the balls themselves are quite durable, the squeakers seem to go quickly. This is the primary factor which has dropped my rating to a 4/5. Read more

If I could give less than one star I would... We have purchased these in the past and our Shepherd absolutely loved them and they lasted a month per ball. This last purchase of 2 sets of three only lasted a day per ball ..Not sure if you are utilizing a different company or not, all I know is that the new quality is bogus. We won't be throwing away money on this product again. It's really too bad because our Shepherd RIP really enjoyed the more substantial balls you used to offer. Read more

The balls are really nice and I like the colors, but the purple ball squeaker was loose inside the middle of the ball so only one of them was actually intact and the dog won't touch it because it doesn't have a squeaker. Too bad I bought two should have just bought one. Read more

My dog loves these to play fetch with. He is a 67 lb goldendoodle and he likes the squeaky noise they make. I still give a 5 ☆ review even though he chews the squeaking mechanism loose but the durability great of the overall ball itself will stay together with out damage to be used for 6+ months. Read more

I purchased these balls for our pit bull mix. He has the large mouth and wide jaw typical of a Pit Bull. We needed a toy ball that was large enough to not be a possible choking hazard as some of the other toy balls we had seemed. He loves these balls! They squeak - which he loves to demonstrate to us! They bounce well and are easy to clean. Our Golden Doodle now demands the same ball… rejecting her previous favorite. 😂 Read more
