Perfect for small spaces and so easy to set up I really like this dumbbell rack. It was easy to put together and didn’t take long at all. The instructions were clear, and all the pieces lined up exactly like they were supposed to. It feels sturdy and well made, which surprised me a little considering how compact it is. This rack is what I was looking for - small, inexpensive, sturdy and tidy. This has 4 pair slots which are holding my varied weights/bells comfortably. I just put it together quite easily with mostly finger tightening until the end where I used the provided hardware. As someone else noted the hardware was greasy but it wiped off easily. Notably I just made a bigger one for my son of a different brand and that version didn't include the wrench which is helpful for the final tightening, though it had more washers and dumbbell holder cushions. I am not sure if cushions are necessary with lighter weights. I did take the middle heavier weights on and off to test the balance of the rack and there was no movement. Also, I lifted it (briefly) by the handle and it felt solid. Mine works well on my wood floor. I had room to pick up the weights easily though I have smaller hands. I would imagine this is best for smaller weights and perhaps smaller hands. Read more

The instructions aren't super detailed… it basically shows a diagram and a slightly vague parts list. But it’s really not too difficult to figure out. It’s pretty intuitive as long as you look at the picture and get all the correct screws and nuts lined up. Comes with a flat spanner for the nuts, and a hexagon wrench for the screws, and you use both together to get everything really good and tight. It feels heavy, solid and sturdy. You will get black metal dust on your fingers during assembly. Seems par for the course though. I really like the very vertical space saving design. Now I don’t have to lean all my little dumbbells on the wall or my piano. This saves me a lot of space, so I am very happy with it. It is perfect for my 12, 10, 5, and 3 lb dumbbells. The only thing that could perhaps be better is if the thin handle at the top were made wider so that it doesn’t hurt my fingers when trying to lift the rack with all or most of the weights on it. In fact, I can’t lift it at all fully loaded because the thin handle just digs into my fingers and hurts too much. But gloves would probably help (I just don’t have any weightlifting gloves). And my husband can lift it fully loaded (with some trouble, haha). Great product, looks nice, is super sturdy, easy to assemble. I highly recommend it. Read more
