Solid simple construction, very flexible and adjustable to your needs, sturdy for the price. I am only loading about 500 lbs and the frame feels ok, the shelves themselves seem to be the weak point, flexing for my 63lb kettlebell. Standard dumbbells fit perfectly. Read more
It seems pretty solid. I have an 88,80,70,60, 2 45's on a shelf. The only issue either flat of the channel iron rails is too tall and holds the shallow flat from supporting the bottom of the KB's or vise versa. Im going to cut some wood to fill in the shelf. It wont need to be thick just something to keep the KB from tipping. Instructions are pretty straight forward. My workout area is pretty cramped and getting the KB's and slam balls off the ground is definitely making feel a little less cramped. Im hanging my pull down cable accessories on the weight posts. This thing is sturdy. I was able to get my 55 lbs and 45 lbs dumbbells on the rack. And the price was right. Read more

I needed a larger weight rack to hold heavier weights and not take up a ton of floor space. This rack is a good fit - with 3 tiers it holds quite a bit without a large footprint. I put it together myself using the tools provided and the instructions were clear. It probably took about 30 min, but would have been less if I had bothered to go get different tools or had someone give me a hand. The only thing I found is the rack is not squared on the one side- it has a slight angle, but the way every piece attaches and seems squared. It in no way affects the actual function and if it wasn't in a corner it would not be noticeable. After several weeks, none of the tiers are bending under weight. The rack is solid- there is no wobble and no shifting putting even the heavy dumbbells on the rack. I have no idea if it will hold the 1200lbs advertised, as I think by that point you'd be out of space. The price is on the low end of average for a rack this size, and feels substantial and solid, even under weight, so I think it's a good value. Read more

Review of 3-tiered dumbbell rack ("rack"). SUMMARY: Arrives in flat pack box and requires assembly. The parts are almost all steel. Heavy duty is an understatement The rack, when EMPTY, weighs over 37 lbs. THIRTY SEVEN POUNDS. Assembly takes just a few minutes and does not require any power tools. Final product is sturdy, stable and does not wobble. I'd feel safe putting heavy weights on this rack. I like this rack for a few reasons. •Assembly was easy and didn't require any power tools. •The parts are all well constructed although, there are some plastic pieces- plastic caps are used for the ends on the bottom poles. •The way the vertical support polls are designed, they have incremental holes. This makes this rack much more versatile than I imagined. I have the option to customize the heights of the middle and bottom rack. I can also adjust the cant (tilt angle) of the shelves. Although it doesn't show it in the pictures, you can choose to mount the shelves upside down so that those sharp edges are not pointing upwards. This would be useful if you're not going to use this to hold dumbbells but need flat shelves for bench press weights. The only CON is because of how heavy this rack is, is not portable and hard to move around the room, especially because it is not on wheels. FINAL THOUGHTS: Amost all steel in construction, this rack is heavy duty. The versatility of this rack makes it an even better value. The only thing this rack cannot do is fold up when not in use but it wasn't designed to be collapsible. It was made to hold a massive amount of exercise weights. Thanks to the heavy duty steel parts, this will do exactly that. Read more
The rack arrived with all parts well protected and the steel frame feels strong once assembled. It holds a good mix of dumbbells and kettlebells without wobbling. The shelves have enough clearance for larger sizes and the footprint fits comfortably in a home gym corner. Assembly took about fifteen minutes. If you need a sturdy organizer for free weights this one handles the load. Read more
I would actually give this 4.5 stars based on how many times I had to adjust it to get it just right and the fact that my kettlebells don't quite sit properly. Overall a great product. I would recommend it to anyone and get it again for my home gym area. This holds quite a bit of stuff as you can see in the picture. It comes packaged compactly (be ready for a heavy box), is easily unpacked and clearly labeled. The instruction book is pretty good but has a little room for improvement. It does tell you to make your shelves flat for certain items (yoga balls/kettle bells, etc) and at an angle for weights. It is clear on front and back and how to put it all together. It needs to be a little clearer on which direction you put the guards up. I only realized my mistake when I went back to the pictures for the product on Amazon. The tools are included and it took me a little bit of time but was really quite simple to put together. I also really like the fact that it is adjustable/customizable based on your weights and what you want it to hold. Read more
