Much better than I expected! I bought the 260 Gallon Deck Box, one of the largest ones to store cushions and outdoor gear. It's huge! My expectations were low, as seen from reviews of so many other similar brands. But I was pleasantly surprised (and impressed) with the weight, sturdiness, and ease of construction. The package weighed 70 lbs to give you an idea. My advice is to go slow with the directions and take your time. It's easier than it first looks and if you rush it you'll probably get frustrated and make a mistake. Mine was entirely simple, but only with small drawings to guide you. It took about an hour to digest and get it right on the first try. Everything fit perfectly. It's well constructed, waterproof, and locks. The top can easily hold a substantial amount of weight. And best of all it looks really good. What an improvement to my patio! Read more

I thought when I opened it and there was no hardware, it all snapped together that I would hate it and it would be flimsy. But it’s actually decently sturdy. I wouldn’t sit on it or anything but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to collapse or blow away either. It’s also very good at keeping the water out. The handle holes are fake, they are like indentions, so water doesn’t get in there, and the lid goes all the way around the edges of the walls so water runs off of it instead of inside.
