Oooohhhh!!!! This is so much better than those gua sha thingies!! I have been trying everything and anything to help me fight my losing battle with aging! Lol I am not sure how this stays so cool to the touch but it does stay cool which feels great on my skin. At the time of this review, this was on sale for $22.99 which is a 15% discount off of the regular price of $26.99. AND at this time it had another coupon that makes this even cheaper and brings the price to $18.39 which I think is fantastic!! The 2 different ends on this rod roll really smoothly and quietly. AIt rolls on my skin without pinching or pulling. I really like that a lot. It is much easier to use and my skin seems to like it better than those gua sha thingies that I have tried before. The size is perfect for me as I carry it with me when I travel and I take it to work with me as well. It helps to relax and soothe me when I am stressed at work. I plan on getting a few more of these as the size makes it perfect for stocking stuffers. I have zero issues with giving this out as gifts as the quality is nice and I know it works. I have always wanted to try a stone roller - they are supposed to de-puff the face and help with lymphatic drainage. When I saw this pretty purple aluminum roller with germanium stones I jumped at the chance to try it. I read that it could help with the absorption of skincare products and I thought it might be a relaxing nighttime ritual. From my point of complete inexperience, I have learned a few things; my first impressions were not always correct. This is a substantial roller. It is 8 inches long that weighs 3.8 oz but somehow feels weightier than that. A narrow rod connects two bulkier ends that rotate independently and smoothly. If feels perfectly balanced. One end is a hexagonal column with six smooth stones embedded in each of the six faces; the stones are secured with a metal ring - this roller is substantial and with no other experience to compare it to, I think it will feel sturdier than an stone that is wired onto a handle. - I loved the beautiful color - this alone made me want to use it. - I wondered if all of the bumps from the flat faces and the stones would make if feel uncomfortable, but it turns out that I do not even notice them. - An information sheet gives directions on how to use the roller on different body parts - I did not expect to use this on my upper arm, shoulder, and calves. - The aluminum roller is very cool and feels great without refrigerating (although the cool might be more intense or last longer if I had stored in in the fridge.) - The biggest surprise - while if feels great, for me, it is more stimulating than relaxing. After using it, my face felt invigorated. I think I will use this as a mid-day pick-me-up more than an end of the day settling. There are a couple of problems. I learned by reading online that a roller should be cleaned after each use, especially if I roll it over skincare products. If this is not done, there could be bacteria growth on it that you will spread with each use. One suggestion is to wipe it down with rubbing alcohol, however, there is nothing included in the materials that inform on how to clean this roller. I don’t know if if rubbing alcohol will damage the aluminum or the stones or if liquids can seep into the stone inserts. While I do love this roller, the missing information on cleaning is enough to take off one star. According to online information, any benefit from rolling is temporary. Read more

I'm not sure how this roller stays so cool to the touch no matter what. You can put it in the fridge, but you certainly don't need to. I have found it to be helpful when I have headaches or any kind of congestion in my face. It's solid and sturdy and should last a lifetime. It's easy to use and effective. Read more

When i first opened the box, I thought it was some kind of medieval torture device and it was heavy enough that it could be. However this is anything but a torture device. It stays nice and cool and leaned my skin feeling awake and refreshed. My first use I only used it on one side of the face and it actually made the side I rolled feel kind of tingly and awake compared to the other side and although I can't see a marked difference in the skin, it somehow feels like the skin on that side of my face fits better and isn't as loose as the other side. oh BOY do I love this thing!!! It works SO well. The roller works so smoothly &, because this is made of metal, it gives a nice cooling sensation as I'm using it. This is very well made & I do firmly believe it will have a very long life. I do think it may be a bit tricky to clean as you don't want it to rust, but that's just a matter of drying it & not leaving anything wet. This is just such a quick & easy thing to use.
