Was not able to jump my 5.7L V8 truck with completely drained battery
I may update this review after additional future attempts, but it fell short in its performance the one time I've needed it so far. The battery in my 5.7 gasoline fueled truck went completely dead while setting for several days (I assume something got left on). The battery had become so drained that there was no signs what-so-ever of life via starter, interior light etc. This is a worse case scenario which is why I'm not being even more critical of it. After a couple cycles of attempting the boost, the starter would try to spin for a fraction of a second but that's all. I gave up after jumper voltage went from 100 percent down below 50 percent and did not seem to be making any more headway. I ended up having to charge the battery with a battery charger before starting was possible. The battery was less than a year old and passed a CCA test after being recharged. Battery terminals were tight and clean. The starter is also new and spins rapidly with fully charged battery. Read more
Pretty good jump starter
This is a pretty good jump starter. It is a good compact size. It is easy to use for all sorts of vehicles. I even used it on my motorcycle and it works great and helped me jumpstart it. It works well and charges well too. It is good value for money and good to have. Read more
