A few weeks back, I left the lights on in a walmart parking lot. I came out to find I needed a jump. No problem, I carry cables. But while I was getting ready to jump my 4Runner, this guy runs up with one of these jump packs, and does it. I couldn't believe how well it worked. I took a picture with my phone, and bought one as soon as I got home. Since then, I have found out that my generator has a dead battery. (rather ironic, but there it is). I deal with frequent blackouts living out in the country, so at least 1 a month is normal). Pull starting that thing is a huge pain in my shoulder, literally... but this last time I just hooked up the jump pack, and cranked it over better than it's ever done before. Used it 3 times that day (had to add gas, etc). Still reads 100%. So I'm buying 3 more. One will be an xmas present for my neighbor, Two will go in our other cars. Forget carrying jumper cables... this little thing is way better, plus with the circuitry that shows you the green light, you CANNOT screw it up. If you hook it up backward, nothing happens! I got one of this a couple of years ago when my battery started failing, and I am glad I did because I not only used it for my car, but for multiple of my neighbors cars. I charged it once and honestly it is still working with more than half the charge, this has been in the trunk of my car for the last 2 years, it literally takes no space, I got this one for my wife's car, the lamp is always a plus, it can charge other devices and it can make the difference between calling a tow truck or taking your car to your home, and shop for a battery. I am really excited by this product, it has great quality, you can see that it is a hard plastic solid shell, instructions are easy to follow, the carrying case is super nice and protects the device. Updating my review after customer service got in touch with me. I checked the instructions, you are correct about charging every three months. I got this unit confused with another product that is supposed to hold a charge for two years. I was finally able to charge the unit, so I don't need another one or a refund. I do appreciate the customer service and will correct my review. DO NOT BUY! Purchased May 27th 2023. Fully charged it. I purchased one of these Jumper in July have used it twice on my Brother and Nephews car. Very easy and convenient to use. My brother liked it and asked me to get him one which I did. Second time around when I got the Jumper though it did not function I believe there may have been a defect. I contacted the seller who directed me to their Customer Support and I spoke to a representative named Kyle who was most helpful and sent me a replacement which I got and is working perfectly. With the purchase of this device, I decided for myself that I could not leave a review about him. What can I say - I bought it to my long-standing and bosom friend for a birthday, who has a car with a small engine, but an all-wheel drive and prepared for adventure, who loves and go fishing and also likes to go hunting. Having received this starting device from me - you would see his eyes - they sparkled like a child. No wonder they say that a man does not differ from a child - because he is a big child and also likes to receive all sorts of necessary and sometimes not very things as a gift ))). After his first trip, I received feedback from him - his car did not fail him (battery), but in place he and his comrade used it as a portable charger for their phones and to charge their echo sounder, as well as on the way back home They took advantage of it for its intended purpose - they helped to start a car that stood on the sidelines and had problems with the battery. Easy to understand instructions. I have a parasitic drain on my 6.0 liter GMC SUV 1500XL. Battery totally dead on three occasions when temperature less than 15° F. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase. Won't leave home without it! Read more
