Hands Down One Of (If Not) THE BEST Quality Rollers On the Market!
I usually can't be bothered to write reviews. But I had to for this one. I am absolutely blown away by the quality of this roller! Initially, I looked for a jade roller, but later decided that, because I would mainly be using it to assist with better placement and adherence of my hydrogel masks, and because I also use these masks when I travel, a stainless steel option would be more durable. This roller appeared to be well-made and had good reviews. Upon receiving it, however, it exceeded my expectations. The quality is top-tier. It is a weighty (comfortably so) piece with a professional/med spa look and feel. One thing I look at in rollers is the metal arms that connect the roller to the shaft. In most rollers, these are of a low-gauge metal and appear to be flimsy. This is not the case with the Talova, where the metal arms are substantial and appear to be very strong. The actual roller is very smooth, with no perceptible unevenness on the surface of the metal. In many rollers, the roller ends are capped onto the shaft, and this is often a point of weakness. This is where you see many breaks or those capped ends simply falling off. Upon close inspection, it appears this is something you'll never have to worry about with the Talova. My final test was how quietly it would roll. There is not a single squeak coming from this, something that is very common with the stone rollers. I'm guessing Talova lined the inside of the roller with silicone to prevent this. Whatever they did, well done, on ALL fronts! My one tiny critique, or rather wish, is that it also came with a drawstring or flap pouch for travel, preferably a nice, velvet one that matches the very high quality of the roller. Even if I had to pay a few extra dollars to have it come with a bag, I'd be willing to do so and still feel like I got more than my money's worth. The box it comes in, however, is sturdy and well-made, so it presents well if wanting to gift the item. Well done Talova!
