I love this mirror. After deciding to paint I decided to rip out the giant wall mirror that was ugly, plain and old. I didn’t know what I was going to get to replace it with but after endless hours of mulling it over I decided on this. Yay. I am lucky enough to have two plugs in my bathroom and one was ideal for this since it was in an awkward place for general use anyway. I didn’t know if I would love the mirror not reaching the end of counter but it spaced perfect over the two sinks and really fit well. We put in a recessed plug because the plug is a little big (sticks out pretty far) and because it was just an inch or two from the edge of the mirror we wanted to hide it a little and then we just plugged it in and I barely notice the plug at all. I thought it was going to bug me but actually it is not a big deal. I am glad I did not hard wire it to the light fixture above because you would need to have your light switch on to the bathroom and I love using the ambient light for most things including taking a shower. It puts off plenty of light. You can hard wire it if you want but I opted not to. I love how many lighting options it has, warm, I guess warmer and cool or bright white, edge only, center only, edge and center both, dimming or bright. After a day or so I figured out how the buttons really worked. How quick to touch and so on to get different lighting. I admit I was concerned at first trying to figure it out but it did come easy after a while. The light to know where to touch to turn on is a little bright but I like it. You just might need to close the bathroom door if you like it dark at night if attached to your room. I liked the way it hung up with the z bar I guess it is called?) but I did add a felt self stick buffers on the bottom so the mirror was not resting on the cord on one side. It would have been nice if it came with “spacers” for this but it was not hard to add this. It really seems like it should of come with something though so it didn’t cause a tilt if you didn’t hard wire it but it would not be a deal breaker for me, just something to figure out. I think it came with foam in the box that I taped or dabbed glue on maybe, I can’t remember, it was not a big deal. It was well packed. It does remind me of hotel mirrors but with controls to dim and stuff. I am only including two pictures with the light color I use most but there is more options. Read more

First, the package arrived with a large puncture to box. I know that may not be the OEMs fault, but the markings for "fragile item" on the box don't jump out. They are a dull white that is difficult to see. I removed the mirror and thankfully the puncture was on the backside so no damage. On to the major issues I have with this product, after unboxing I plugged in the mirror and the lighting was dull, very dull. The left side lights didn't work so that probably contributed to the issue, but they were so dull I'm not sure it would have helped if they had. The mirror came pre-wired with a plug. I had planned to hardwire the mirror, which the product information on Amazon said was an option. There were no instructions for how to hardwire. I'm sure I could have figured it out, but it seems like that would be a standard section on the instruction sheet given that the product detail says its an option. I would not recommend this item if 1) you intend to light the room with the lights on this mirror and 2) if you plan to hardwire and enjoy the security blanket of having OEM instructions. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was the best price and style for what we were looking for Ease of installation: It was easy to put up. But if you want to use the plug in option the mirror wouldn’t be flush with the wall which we were kind of annoyed with .. we ended up have to use a wire stripper and hat wire through the wall just something to keep in mind . There were no directions sent with the mirror or any we could find online . We were also in a time crunch to get renovations done so it was the fastest easiest way to get the job done.
