Well, I’m impressed (both with the product and with my shopping smarts). So this weighted vest is not one of those cheap sandbag vests that bounce around when you attempt anything more than a brisk walk. This vest comes equipped with iron bars that can be removed/added for more/less weight as needed, a tight way to cinch it around your mid-waist (which also helps reduce load on your shoulders), and an overall compact design that just LOOKS cool. I was about to get a Wolf vest (which is $250 AND you need to buy the weights separately) when I came across this little gem and I’m gratified I did. The shoulder pads are good but your shoulders will get sore anyway because they are bearing the weight. My only complaint is it took about 20 minutes to figure out the waist-belt arrangement (a little video guide would have been nice). This vest is heavy, I didn’t realize how much 35 lbs actually weighed until I tried this vest on. This vest really makes workouts more effective. I wore it while i did the same workouts I do every other day and by the time I was half way through them I was exhausted. That was with all of the weight added, so the next time I cut the weight in half so I could finish my workout.
