Excellent packaging. Very secure. So simple to put together. I took the advice of someone here who said to put a little bit of grease on the small little part at the top and it screwed in without a problem. Without the little bit of WD-40 on a paper towel, it was hard to get it started. The WD-40 to the rescue - just a little bit - and it’s screwed in like a charm. It’s a very pretty lamp. It’s heavy duty base. It’s good quality. It’s a nice light. I love everything about it. Read more

I wanted a lamp for reading when in my chair in the master bedroom. This lamp is beautiful. It took five minutes to assemble. It is really sturdy and not a leaner. I love that it has two bulbs and chains for brighter or softer lighting. Great quality at a great price. Read more

Let me start with this lamp is very well packed. It took me a while to gently remove all pieces. Because the power cord is snaked through several of the pieces one has to be very careful to remove each from its packaging. It didn’t take me long to assemble the lamp. Initially the top piece didn’t screw in all the way or straight. But I finally got it right. It is a weighty lamp so it is very sturdy. On close inspection there are a few scratches that show rust. Also the lamp shade shows a spot of rust in front. Since the box it was packaged in had no damage I can only think it was packed that way. Please see photos. I am disappointed in the quality. I purchased another lamp shade and the scratches aren’t visible as they are just below the lights and hidden by the shade. If these were not an issue this would be a 5 star lamp. Lamp was taller than expected, which I liked very much. The large drum shade is a linen fabric, and has two pull chains for the bulbs (not included). Very easy to assemble, the finial is not gaudy and the silvery gray color is what I hoped for. It is quite heavily weighted in the base which I also liked. This lamp replaced one of the "three way" bulbs that I hated because I had to go through two levels to get the one I wanted. Now I just choose one of the chain pulls, that have a lovely silver metal droplet at the ends; similar to dangling earrings. Happy. Read more

Purchased this lamp for a baby nursery. Easy to assemble and quality is excellent. Very sturdy and it contains two bulbs, one of which can be turned off for less light. Highly recommend this. Read more

This is a substantial lamp and looks expensive. Assembly required more than the table lamps but was easy enough the extra work not unexpected. Compared to the matching table lamps, I think they are less of a modern look and a little more classical. Shade is a true white. I like the bulb operation pulls much better than a foot switch than many other floor lamps seem to have. Read more
