These were a Christmas gift. I talked to the person I gave them to and she said they worked great for her toenails. It wasn't awkward to use and it cut the nails that were on the sides of the toe so the toenail wouldn't grow into her side skin of the toe nail. It did what it was described to do. Read more

Very nicely wrapped. I bought this as a gift for a senior I my family who has trouble doing their toenails. They said this was a great kit . The only issue reported it is SO sharp they ended up getting a bit of a small cut the first time . After knowing that they are more careful and have had no issues. The value is good for two specialty clippers , two tools, and a case. The rotating head is very cool and helpful. I would buy this again . Just be aware of the sharpness . Read more

I got these to use on my dementia stricken mother. Her toenails are lethal and have their own address and design. So I needed to come with some heavy guns in order to wrangle in those talons. Unfortunately, even these behemoth mouth clippers could not help her in the end so these have become my clippers now instead. My toenails however are just regular nail beds that dont require such clippers but it is nice to be able to fit and see the entire cut prior to making it. There are 2 of these clippers and tools to help dig out dirt, debris and other nasty products but I only use the black handle clippers. Overall, I am happy to own this set and can happily offer its service to those who visit and need a little extra in way of clippers for talons! Read more

These work well, even on thick nails. They’re easy to use and plenty sharp, and at about $12 it’s a good deal. The design is nice for getting hard-to-reach nails, and the wide opening makes it easy to work. Read more

I’ve been having a hard time trimming my toenails lately due to some thickening, and my old clippers just weren't cutting it. I was looking for something with a wider jaw that was easier to handle and easier to cut my thicker nails. These are great because the head rotates, so I can get a good angle without straining my wrist! The catcher is a nice feature and keeps the clippings from flying everywhere. They’re very sharp and feel sturdy. The grip is comfortable and doesn't slip, and aids in helping them work so well! Read more

These clippers are well made with tight machine tolerances that allow for crisp and accurate cuts. The clipper angles are specialized for specifically cutting toenails, as advertised... these can work for fingernails, but they are not the right tool for the job nor advertised as such. The clippers are large and easy to hold, but the downside to that is it makes it more difficult to get into the tight corners on my large toes. The larger pick works well for toe cuticles. I did not find a way or have any scenarios to make the smaller pick useful yet... but it does look promising for an ingrown toenail scenario. I removed a star because I still needed to use a different smaller set of clippers to properly get into my large toe corners. Read more

For the last year or so, I’ve occasionally experienced intense hand cramps, spasms, and weakness. It's made some everyday tasks harder to manage, so I’ve gotten into the habit of looking for tools that might make life a little easier. I spotted these "Toenail Clippers for Thick Nails for Seniors"—with features like an angled head, wide jaw opening, rotating head, and trimmings catcher—and while I’m not a senior, the stainless steel build and promised ease of use piqued my interest. Out of the package, the clippers feel sturdy and high quality—like real stainless steel. All the pieces fit nicely in the included pouch. I wasn’t especially drawn to the “catcher” feature, since I normally trim my nails over the toilet or outside, but I tested it and it does effectively contain the clippings. That could be helpful for someone with limited mobility or flexibility. And really, who wants toenail shrapnel flying around the house? I also tried the 360° rotating head—not because I needed it, but because I was curious—and discovered it’s genuinely helpful. It allowed me to trim at a better angle without contorting my leg and foot. Both clippers were easy to use. The levers are longer than standard clippers and provide smooth action. The cuts were clean and required no additional filing. The other tools in the kit exceeded my expectations. The listing describes the pouch as a “sleek leather case.” I wouldn’t call it sleek, and it doesn’t appear to be actual leather—more like a sueded vinyl—but that’s not a dealbreaker. The tools feel durable, and while I can’t confirm they’re stainless steel, they don’t seem cheaply made. They were especially handy for cleaning up my cuticles and removing buildup from under my nails. This set feels like a great value and seems likely to last as long (if not longer) than the clippers they’re replacing—ones I’ve had for over twenty years. Now that I think about it, that’s kind of gross. Good riddance... and hello, easy clipping. Read more

These clippers definitely get the job done! they’re sharp, cut clean, and the rotating head is helpful for hard-to-reach angles. The wide jaw is great for thicker nails, and the catcher is a nice touch to reduce mess. BUT: Be very careful, especially with the black clipper. I didn’t even realize I cut myself until I saw blood. The photo I’m including is 4 days later, and it’s still not fully healed. The blades are sharper than expected and can easily nip skin if you’re not paying close attention. I do really like how the other pair swivels it makes it easier to adjust the angle for awkward spots, especially if you have limited mobility or flexibility. Read more
