I usually buy regular rice, not from a box. However, I am impressed with the flavor. I wasn't expecting that. I cooked it on the stove top and added a bit of lime juice, pepper, ginger and thyme. Wish I had all the ingredients for the recommended toppings on package. But happy all is organic. Can spice it up or/and use ghee. Will shop for the toppings. Meanwhile, its pretty easy to prepare and a decent side dish. Might be considered a main dish with the toppings or Tasty Bite lentils. Read more

I was hoping for a more flavorful rice blend but it basically tasted like your typical rice a roni. Probably a good option for kids, but not particularly “Spanish” except for the color.
