Bought this about two months ago, and am almost out. I have spent full days at high altitude hiking or at a lake. This works very well. The trick is to rub it on your hands before applying- that warms it up and thins it out for easier spreading. Yes- it is mineral based so there will be a white cast...duh...but I can't understand people saying it's not working unless they are not covering themselves. It also will not taste bad when you place it on your lips, nor will it sting your eyes. It works wherever it is applied, and it stays on, even in the water- I agree with the previous review that states that it is even hard to get off in the shower. the only sunscreen better than this is Thinksport due to it's hylauronic acid content. If you don't want white cast- go soak yourself in some chemical based sunscreen. Any mineral sunscreen is going to have white cast unless it is tinted with chemicals. Read more

I love this suncream and I hope they never discontinue it. I suffer from blepharitis which is an eye complaint. Most suncreams contain strong chemicals and really irritate my eyes, sometimes causing them to swell up, water and itch for an hour or more. This stuff is fantastic for me. To address some of the other reviews; yes it’s a little greasy but I have dry skin so that’s a bonus. Yes it takes a little longer to rub in but I definitely don’t find it chalky because it’s actually a little greasy. I only use it on my face, neck and collarbone and I’ve never got burned. I use a different sunlotion on the rest of my body which rubs in quicker…but this still rubs in, just takes a little longer. I was paying $22 for a tiny tube of Clinique sensitive sun lotion factor 30 for the face so buying this has saved me a lot of money because one tube lasts a year….because I’m only using it for my face. Love it. Just bought another tube for when the first finally runs out. Read more

This sunscreen worked for the most part. I reapplying multiple times because I was in and out of a swimming pool, it gave me a white cast even though I tried blending it in as well as I can. after I wasn’t in the pool I got burned from the sunny and it hurt, a few days pass and I got a tan but it wasn’t that bad. I purchased this sunscreen by Whole Foods in the small 1.5 oz portable clip-on version. I was very pleasantly surprised that it did NOT burn my eyes. It didn't make my eyes water or cause any discomfort at all. I used it as a lip balm as well to protect my lips from sun. I hadn't been out in the sun for years and was sitting pool-side and the sun's glare was intense. I burned everywhere I did NOT use this sunscreen, but stayed safe wherever I did use the sunscreen. I appreciate that it had no foul taste on my lips. It was overall a pleasant product to use and absolutely did a great job at protecting my skin wherever I applied it. This product is a life-saver. Excellent. I will definitely purchase again. Read more
