Customers say
Customers find the flashlight functions better than 395nm lights and appreciate its brightness, with one noting it works well for curing UV resins.

I'd give this item 10 stars if it were possible. Probably the best 365nm UV lamp you'll find in this price range. It will light up fluorescent items at a distance of 25 feet. I liked it so much I purchased a second one. For mineral hunting or other typical UV light use it performs very well. Highly recommend. Read more
Powerful 365nm UV flashlight. Solid case and good battery life. Use it for UVIF photography, rock and mineral work and other outdoor activities. Read more
This flashlight is bright and thus has worked perfectly to harden UV resin. It feels like it is made of quality materials; it has a solid feel (fits my hand well), is heavier than expected, and the finishes are clean. It is easy to use, as it charges and functions as expected. I like that it displays its charge level. The only knock I have against it is that the access point for the charging port is covered by rubber that appears to have a flimsy hinge -- I expect it will tear off following moderate use. Read more
This light works perfectly for finding those elusive orange glowing stones. This would be an excellent choice for a child as it's affordable priced. Read more
Love having a proper black light. I've had use that used interchangable batteries, so it's great to have one that's just usb charged now. This flashlight uses a BLB bulb for its UV light, meaning the bulb has a purple filter, and most visible light will be filtered out and only the true uv light will shine through. For example the light doesn't really show up in a mirror except from the bulb. It helps highlight specks of grime or uv reactive material with reduced glare if that makes sense. Read more
Charged quickly. Brightness is good. What the description does not say is that you need to apply luminol to blood so that is will be visible to the black light. I specifically asked Rufus if this light reveals blood and it said yes. Rufus at no point mentioned needing to apply anything for blood to show. No use to a hunter. Read more
This flashlight worked to catalyze a diazirine reaction for a photoaffinity ligand and purified target protein. About 5% of my protein got labeled with the ligand (by SDS page), and the rest of the ligand reacted with nothing, water, or phosphate - no unreacted ligand remained (by mass spec). We tried 2, 5, and 10 minutes of irradiation - the reaction was complete at the 2 minute timepoint. Just thought I'd let any other cheap scientists know who don't have access to a photoreaction chamber! This was on purified protein, but we'll try it on the ligand in cells next. I'll update if we have any problems, but I assume it will work fine. Also to add - we tried activating our diazirine with a regular UV light (like for DNA gels), a plate reader (tried to "read" every wavelength in the activation range), and a full spectrum UV bulb (from an LC) with a filter over the sample to remove low UV wavelengths. None of this worked to for the reaction. This flashlight is a lot more powerful than all of those other options. Read more
