I love this mask and have been using it for a little while, mostly for the cooling. I live in cold temperatures and it retains the room temperature crazy well so popping it in the freezer isn't even really needed. There's no light leakage, and it sits comfortably in the eyesockets so it doesn't irritate the eyes and I'm sure that by proxy it's better on your eyelashes than your traditional mask too. Read more

I have never purchased an eye mask before, but I love this one. I have only used it in a cool state. My recommendation is not to put it in the freezer. It’s plenty cold enough in the refrigerator and it lasts for a long time. If you put it in the freezer, it’s gonna be way too cold to put on your face. I ordered the Tolaccea 3D Cooling Sleep Mask to use when I have puffy eyes from allergies or lack of sleep. Since all my other eye masks are somewhat light and thin, I was curious to try out this cool weighted mask. The fabric with the gel on this mask is soft, squishy and very comfortable. Because it is large and thick, it does a nice job blocking out light and the adjustable straps help fit any sized head. In addition, the extra space carved out for the eyes adds comfort since it allows space to blink. The mask arrived with directions but they were general instructions for all the companies’ products. You can find specific information on the Amazon website which suggests freezing for 2 hours and heating for 20 seconds in the microwave. The included directions also recommended using damp cloth for cleaning and not machine washing. The option to freeze or warm this mask up in the microwave is a plus, but the fabric is already cool to the touch without having to place it in the freezer. If I want it to be cooler, I put it in the refrigerator instead. Overall, this is a good quality mask that works well to block out light and reduce eye puffiness. Read more
