Amazon invited me to review this as part of the Vine program. My daughter was tickled when she saw this was available--but she's pregnant, so she handed it to me to review! (Don't use this while pregnant.) I don't frequent spas nor do I baby my sensitive skin, though I do practice covering and other safe(r) sun practices. So I looked up the Cleveland Clinic site to read about LED light therapy. This is an "FDA-cleared" device according to the description. It can be used to deliver skin treatments at home similar to those in a spa or clinic and should pay for itself based on that comparison in around 10 sessions. Some people have photosensitive skin and should not use it to avoid skin irritation. Because it doesn't generate UV wavelength light it is generally considered safe and is believed not to cause skin cancer. But you probably already knew all that if you are interested in this mask.... It is brown silicone in a face-hugging shape with a ridge around the eye opening and large gaps for the ears that attaches using a hook and loop closure behind the head. It can also be used on other parts of the skin that don't require these accommodations, but is particularly shaped for the face. By placing the lights in close proximity to the skin it increases the intensity and limits the random dispersion of the wavelengths in use. It is powered by a rechargeable controller that attaches to the mask by wire. The controller has a large clip and also comes with a hook/loop strap to attach it to an arm or elsewhere. The same USBc port on the controller is used alternatively for both charging and powering the light mask. No charger is included, but it should work with any USB charger (5V, 1-2A.) A USBa to USBc charging cable is included as well as a soft velour storage bag. There are six modes that deliver various combinations of 5 specific wavelengths: 415nm, 590nm, 633nm, 850nm, and 1072nm. The brightness selector allows 50%, 75%, and 100% intensity settings. There is also an optional pulse setting. The specifics of the 6 modes are described in the instruction manual. The six modes are described both in terms of specific frequency combinations and by intended use case as noted in the product description. I would compare this to buying a treadmill or elliptical--just having it won't make a difference, but if you use it consistently you should see the results over time. I know which category I'm in and we'll see which category my daughter is in once she has (hopefully!) this baby now under construction. Read more

I won’t be making any medical claims in this review about whether this LED mask device can revitalize your skin, cure anything, or is good for you to wear, I am just going to be reviewing its build quality, overall functions, and perceived durability. The mask itself is fairly thick and contoured to fit your face but still flexible. It’s made of smooth, dark silicone on the outside, with an inner clear silicone layer covering the multicolor/multiwavelength LED lights. The overall shape and look remind me a bit of a Halloween mask. It has a single thick silicone strap with Velcro that holds it in place, and it’s flexible enough to fit comfortably on both large and small faces without issue. I had no problems wearing it for the 10 minute cycle but if you do much more that that it might start getting sweaty and stuffy. I will note here that even with the eye cutout I still got light in my eyes. The LED lights are securely mounted into the main body of the mask. The inner silicone layer is a cloudy clear color, with completely clear hexagons around each light. One minor flaw: the inner silicone panel isn’t as secure on the right side as it is on the left—it bubbles up slightly, likely because of the rounded nub that sticks into that side to retain the USB-C power cable. Speaking of the power cord, it exits near the lower right jaw area. I think it would have been better positioned farther back on the side or even integrated into the strap to eliminate that bulge and make it less awkward. A side placement would also provide a better angle for connecting to the external battery pack and offer more flexibility for wearable placement. The battery pack, which cannot be charged while in use, doubles as the controller, with three buttons to power on/off, adjust light levels, and switch between modes. The modes it offers are listed on the small but very well laid out and easy to read screen: Repairing, Rejuvenation, Anti-Aging, Morning Skincare, Anti-Acne, and Bedtime Skincare. Switching modes visibly changes the light color and intensity. Each mode also has a flashing/strobe option and three brightness levels. The mask automatically shuts off after 10 minutes, which is not adjustable, and it does not retain your last settings between uses. A big plus for the controller is that I could not hear any high pitched noises like coil whine during any of the light or flashing sequences nor did it heat up. Battery life is good. After a full charge, I ran 22 cycles of the highest intensity Repairing mode before it ran out of juice. That means you could take it on a trip without worrying about recharging. Recharging back to full took about 2.5 hours. I am disappointed however that the mask does not come with a charger, just a second cable that is USB-A to USB-C. For the price, I expected a charging block. Hey they do include a storage bag! 4 stars for the lack of a charging block and the minor issues. I also wish their logo was not front and center in your forehead in big bold letters. Read more
JACQUELINE—December 13, 2025
I have not used a red light mask in a while, but I am genuinely excited to start again with this one. I did a lot of reading before buying and everything points to this type of light being one of the best options out there for collagen support. Knowing the research behind it makes me feel confident sticking with it consistently this time. What really pulled me in is how many modes it offers. I like that it is not a one size fits all situation. Some days my skin looks dull and tired, other days it feels congested or a little irritated. Having different settings makes it feel customizable instead of just another skincare gadget collecting dust. I also love that sessions are short, so it does not feel like a big commitment. The design looks thoughtfully made and comfortable, which matters to me. In the past I avoided using similar products simply because they felt awkward or heavy. This one feels like it was designed to actually sit naturally on the face, which makes it more likely I will stick with it long term. If something feels annoying, I will not use it, plain and simple. I am especially hopeful about the collagen benefits over time. I am realistic and know results take consistency, but the idea of supporting firmer and smoother looking skin from home is really appealing. I am looking forward to making this part of my nighttime routine and treating it like a little self care moment instead of a chore. If you are someone who has been curious about red light therapy or stepping up your skincare routine in a more research backed way, this feels like a solid option. I am excited to see how my skin responds as I get back into using it regularly. Read more
