My son is 8 years old. He loved this pen, however it stopped working about a week or two after it was purchased. It somehow became jammed and we couldn't fix it. I found out through another amazon review that their customer service was great and I'm so glad I saw that! I contacted them easily by phone, spoke with Charlie, who was so kind, and he proceeded to email me, walking through the process of trying to fix the pen. Once they realized the pen was not fixable, they sent us a replacement within a couple days! So excited for my son to be able to use this pen again! Read more

I got this for my 7 year old and he loves it. He's created some really neat things on his own. It's easy to use and the doodler doesn't get hot enough to burn your fingers, making it very kid friendly. The colors are good, I wish they came with a little more vibrant ones though. All in all it's a great gift. Only negative feedback would be the battery life. Seems like you only have enough to do one project on a full charge. Read more

My son enjoyed the printer but it didn't last a year. It stopped feeding the filaments. He still has hung on to it, hoping it would start working or we could find a way to repair it, but I don't think we can. Read more

Best gift ever! My 7 year old grandson picked it up immediately, and was able to start by drawing a straight line, then a circle, and then realized he can put them together and do a beautiful bouquet of flowers with mixed colors! Imagination can run wild. If you can dream it, you can make it! Also, the battery length is sufficient, to be able to get through a small project before having to recharge. But it does recharge pretty quickly as well! Looking to buy a bigger doodle sheet, and glad that I bought the extra filaments to start with! Read more

We've only used it once, and there's definitely a learning curve, but it's a lot of fun! We made a cute little frog, and my daughter is already asking to make more things. Color quality is good, the spoed ana tad fast but you get used to it. The material adheres well and the functionality is good, though obviously, a little learning is involved. Read more
