These are perfect to cover a Fentanyl patch. They keep it down with complete skin contact so the medicine penetration remains even for the 3 day period between changes. If you begin to lose that contact the patch can not distribute effectively and even with a perfect placement the Fentanyl patch will start to lift around the edges. This product is invaluable to me in retaining pain management and I have used them for 4 years. The price on Amazon by the 100 count box is a little over 30 cents each compared to as much as $1.75 I had paid in a pharmacy buying them individually. The only draw back is if you are active enough to sweat it will retain the water and the patch can lose contact so you need to drain the film cover as much as possible and may not get the full effect from the Fentanyl. The upside is without it you wouldn't have been able to be active enough to work up a sweat. I do wish there was a size slightly larger since I have to apply my own and it is a very close fit. If I don't get it centered perfectly to seal completely around the Fentanyl patch I have to use a second film to ensure a complete seal. If I move up to a stronger dose the patch is usually larger and the next size Tegaderm patch I have found is about twice this size. I ordered some once and cut them in half for my 75 mcg Fentanyl patch. I have also used them with a Butrans patch that is much larger. I would recommend this product to anyone for use with a transdermal pain patch or wound care. It is a great product and fortunate we can purchase it directly here at such a great price! Read more

Update: since my original post and purchase through OneHealth, I have reordered these Tagaderm bandages numerous times from other sellers. Other sellers were PharmaPacks and WikiDeals. I have had no issues at all with any of the Tagaderm bandages from these sellers, they work great! The only issue I had was with shipping as they’ve been shipped in flimsy envelopes every time so upon arrival the boxes were crushed, broken, and ruined to the point of them being unusable - but I’d like to point out that the sellers did not ship any of these to me as they all were shipped by Amazon. I personally don’t use the boxes anyway since I store them in something else but if you would use the boxes then you may want to consider this when purchasing. Original review: I purchased through the seller OneHealth and they worked pretty much like the expensive Nexcare version. The ones I received were slightly cut different than the Nexcare version, as the bottom split area barely had the removable paper edge unlike the top area which had more, so because of that it made the bottom a little flimsy when applying as it kept wanting to bend at that split. However I was able to still work with them and get them placed fairly flat. I would get some tiny creases or bubbles but I change it so frequently that those didn’t matter. Most of the time it kept water out however I did find during hot showers/baths it would create water droplets between the bandage and my skin, but this would dry up shortly after. There were a few of the bandages where the edges would roll or come up but nothing that big of a deal to hinder anything and it would eventually reattach when sleeping as the pressure of laying on it I guess reactivated the adhesion. I wear these 24/7 continuously as they cover my medical patch and have had no skin irritation at all. We've used this Tegaderm film by 3M over many years and found it to be a consistently high quality product. It's strong and stays where it's put. Don't be fooled by the numerous knock offs that are cheaper - but don't work. You get what you pay for in life. Read more

Works fine but the edges often lift up immediately after applying. It makes me wonder if it’s actually manufactured by 3M. My dad was involved in the development of Tegaderm, I’m an RN and these just aren’t of the same quality as the ones I’ve used with patients and my dad wonders as well. Read more
