Heavy, but QUALITY comfortable hearing protection with Bluetooth and AM/FM radio! I prefer to listen to a local radio station when working outside the house with equipment. My phone is still connected and can make or answer calls if need. I imagine I could even call for help or assistance if I ever injured myself or had an accident running power tools and equipment. good value for money, they are not rechargeable they use batteries. Do not buy their recharge kit ($28) that only lasts for two hours. buy the Panasonic rechargeable batteries that'll give you 10 hours or more between charges, and come in 6 pack or higher for much less. Read more

My old Worktunes were well used...time for a new set. The new set is more comfortable and adjusts easily to fit. Controls are totally different but quickly became intuitive. I like the new rocker style volume control...if bumped it doesn't change radio functions like the old one. Also like the voice indicating battery strength when powering on. Read more

Comfortable enough for hours of wear. The radio pickup is very good for where I live. Running on AA batteries this last for quite a long time. The noise cancellation is decent, but the volume could be slightly louder. I used these on a lawn mower and tractor mostly, music is generally loud enough but listen to podcast, sometimes it is almost too quiet to hear. Overall; a good product. Read more

Our third son has a set of these. These are a newer version and we bought these for our second son for his recent birthday. We like the sound deadening extremely well on the fact that it can run radio or Bluetooth is a real plus when he does yardwork. Read more

Not sure if its an improvement over the old gray 3M worktunes... I find the top piece that goes over the crown of your head much less comfortable than the old model. It sort of pulls at your hair compared to previous design. I'll get used to the controls eventually. WHy 3M doesnt offer the FM/ bluetooth with the solar recharging is beyond me as well. Sound quality is good, the overall ruggedness / quality seems on par with previous model. I hope someone offers and accesory pad for that top piece, I think thats going to be the biggest issue with these new models. Update.Several months after purchase and I dislike these even more now. I've purchased used or returned items before and always had good experiences doing so but this time I was nearly ready to return the item because it didn't even include an owner's manual. So I went to 3m's website and tried to find what I needed. Didn't find it. Used the "contact us" page to leave them a message asking if they could email me a manual and never heard back from them. Do better 3M! Then never even replied to tell me NO. Now I'm questioning every buying decision I make if it involves a 3M product, uffda. Finally found info online and took it to the NASCAR race in Kansas City where I found out how truly awful the reception on the AM side of this thing is and that the FM is only a little better but I said to myself "self, you can use the app on your phone and pair it to these headphones using blutooth!" which I did and I congratulated myself on being so dang smart! But I ran into one more hiccup - these things didn't have enough volume to be able to hear the broadcast over the car noise. (NASCAR is really loud if you've never been to a race) But at least I could hear it when there was a caution and they did provide fairly good hearing protection from the noise overall but if that's the best feature of these there are far cheaper ways to achieve hearing protection. I should have returned them and probably would have if I had paid full price for them. And 3M - if you're reading this just put a rotary knob volume control on them next time would ya?
