Love these. I hate the plastic ones sold in stores. I feel like they don’t do a good job of removing stuff. I found these and I feel so much cleaner with them, because they are wire. The only downfall to the wire is if it pops, it’s no longer any good. I haven’t found a fix for this problem. Read more

I received the first set and the cover was so cheap it was completely bent on both sides. However, all the tools inside were undamaged and all were in tact. It's a nice set and each of the tool are individually wrapped which I appreciate. I would say it's a nice beginner set and I feel like there are better quality ones out there. I was sent a second set as a replacement and it too came completely dented. Oh well, it's not pretty to look at but it doesn't hurt the effectiveness of the tools. I just wished the manufacturer would use better quality case because it sure would be nice to receive a product that doesn't look damaged. Read more

I suspect these would be fine but I can't get the protective plastic covers off the tips. Even trying to pull them off with pliers. I guess I'll have to melt them off. Read more

First off the shafts are rather small and a little difficult to grip as a result. I know for a fact that professional hygienists sharpen their tools and most of these are really dull. The few tools that have potential appear to have rolled edges and burrs that need to be cleaned up and straightened out before being put to use. I’m not sure what the tweezers are for although I suspect if one is wearing braces, they might come in handy for threading floss between them. There is one tool in particular that I’ve never seen a dentist use but is commonly used for pedicures to clean the sludge out from around toenails and does a really great job at it, so that tool wont be going in my mouth. The spoon type tongue scraper is a huge disappointment as its really cheaply made out of really thin stamped sheet metal and not shaped all that well either. At least the U-shaped tongue scraper is somewhat decent and no silicone grips for mold and bacteria to form on. For a $10 set, I suppose the quality is decent enough to feel like I got a fair deal.
