When I bought this tent a few months ago, . I was new to camping so I did quite a bit of research. I wanted a spacious, waterproof tent for me and my boyfriend that was easy to put up and not too expensive. I’ve used it 3x and have been happy so far! 2/3 times it rained. Not a torrential downpour but definitely more than a sprinkle. Everything stayed completely dry. It’s also very spacious inside with a high ceiling. We use a queen size blowup mattress, and still have plenty of room for our stuff! And finally, what I like most about it is how easy it is to put up. The last time we went camping, I felt bad for the people next to us who struggled for at least 30/45 minutes to put up their tent. Whereas, we were done in about 10 minutes, which included putting on the rain fly. I would definitely recommend this tent for a a couple or possibly a family of 4. This tent is definitely better than the tent I was using before. It’s fast and easy to set up and break down. One person can do it with no problem. It’s a 4-person tent but realistically it will fit two people with gear comfortably. It held up well in very windy conditions this weekend. Thankfully it didn’t rain. Crossing my fingers that this tent doesn’t leak. I’m rating this 4 stars because of the zippers and material. The zippers are okay, I guess. I just wish the windows had two zipper pulls. I like choosing where I want them to be cracked open a bit. The door does have two zipper pulls but one only goes horizontally along the bottom and the other starts at the bottom and curves up. Again, I would have preferred two free sliding pulls and be able to choose where I open the door. The tent material itself is kinda loud. Granted, it was very windy this weekend but the material sounded very “crinkly” like tarp. It’s not like hammock or parachute material. I had to stake the tent down again in the middle of the night and make everything really taught, including the rain fly. This helped some but it made zipping the door difficult with the extra tension. I’m sure the material wouldn’t have bothered me if it were normal weather conditions. Tent came with holes in the center, was definitely not water resistant as the inside flooded with one rain shower. The seams especially did not hold up. The rain fly was fine, but the seams soaked through water as it drizzled down the tent. Easy to setup good size, bad zipper quality. This tent was a lot smaller than we thought it was going to be. It was big enough for two cots, 2 ice chests & a dog. Absolutely no room for anything else. Very tight space. Be aware. Otherwise it was easy to put up and take down. Read more
