Instructions were a little confusing but once i read ahead and mapped out the pieces, it was built fairly quickly(i have building experience so it’ll be fairly quick for someone who consistently builds things). Gorgeous desk for the price, it isn’t too heavy so I can move it around the apartment easily. but if you need to move it lift it as the legs feel a little bendable if moved by pushing- if you catch my drift. (Aug 3, 2025) I give this desk five stars - it is what it promises to be. Things to be aware of: The box is very heavy, and it would be good to have a partner help to get it into the house. Be sure to inventory all of the parts, if any are missing the company has excellent customer service. Generally the pieces (save for one cam) fit well, though some of the small pre-drilled holes scarcely penetrate the melamine, and I highly recommend that you have an awl handy to make a start for the self-tapping screws. I urge you to assemble as much as you can of it on a table or workbench, it’s better than bending over and wrestling with the pieces on the floor. A screwdriver is included, but I suggest that you have a larger one nearby, as it’ll be easier to grip than the pee-wee that comes with the desk. You have to constantly second-guess the assembly instructions as they are often mis-drawn, and you can end up having to do a lot of work over again. I was able to avoid this simply by comparing each piece to the directions, and allowing for the incorrect drawings – the point is, go slow, and fit everything before you bolt it down. I’m very happy with the finished product; it'll make the perfect hobby desk for paints, brushes, tools, and airbrush gear. It’s an attractive little desk and it will do exactly what I need it to do. This is a fantastic little desk especially for the money. I needed very specific dimensions to fit in my space, and since it's a small space, having the little storage shelf underneath and the drawers was important to me. The storage shelf also adds stability. I just took one star off because I hate the wood tone. I wonder if it wouldve been so hard to make it look like beech or cherry or walnut? I'm probably going to replace the drawer pulls to give it a little more personality. There were no parts missing and all the holes and things were where they needed to be, so although there were a lot of steps to assembly it did come together without additional tools or trips to the hardware store. The drawers do have real drawer pull hardware, not just slots. Although they are lightweight they work just fine. The hole for cords and cables is conveniently placed. I would not recommend this for a big person. I am 5'3" though and I love it. Get yourself a wobble stool to fit underneath! Read more

DON'T BUY!!!!!!!!! Would not let me submit review without a star. But there should be negative stars. The directions make no sense and could not put together. We threw the whole thing in the garbage. The desk itself is fine. Typical flat pack quality. No complaints there. But the instructions are AWWWFULLL. The pictures show pieces listed as something else in the instructions. The instructions are choppy and extremely unclear. The diagrams are too wide so the pieces in it are tiny and you can’t really tell where they’re going. My son and I relied on our many years of building IKEA furniture to go with our instinct and GUESS. A less experienced furniture builder will end up in tears. Read more
