Works, looks good. Mine came with two sets of screws, of different types. First type was thinner and longer, used a hex key, but was thick at the root. This looks better but was very hard to get in due to the thicker neck. The wood hole tends to become free before the screw even goes in fully. I had to press hard inwards while rotating. The second type was somewhat thicker, used a + type screwdriver (included) but does not look as good on the bin. While some reviewers have said assembly was hard, it was very easy *except* for the issue noted above with the thinner screw. Read more

This is ridiculous! The assembly is difficult because the holes don’t align properly, the screws don’t go in all the way and the hex screwdriver is stripping. I’ve never had that happen before and the metal is so cheap it easily bends. I have zero interest in keeping this. I also was unaware that the assembly required 20 screws. I was surprised to see this item arrive in a flat pack. It's possible that I didn't read the listing closely enough, but I definitely did not realize that you would have to build the can yourself. That on its own would have been fine, but there were several issues with it. The instructions provided did not match the product itself, and many of the pieces do not align well. It actually took several passes of loosening and re-tightening each screw by hand before I could even get the bottom panel to line up with the sides enough to sit flat. It took me about 30 minutes give or take to put the thing together, and that just feels like way too much work for a trash can. On top of that, they only provided hex bolts, and a cheap tool to screw them in with. Because they were so small, I didn't have any drill bits that matched the screw and had to do all 22 (yes 22 screws for one trash can) by hand, which is really hard on my hands due to chronic pain. The caps that were meant to cover the tops of the bolts were also too large and looked terrible, so I ended up not using them. None of this would have really been that big of an issue for me if this was a ten dollar trash can, but 30 dollars is outrageous for a trash can made out of cheap materials that isn't even assembled, is a pain to put together, and with pieces that don't even align properly. Be aware of screw hole / quality control problems. The holes in the wood were too large and the holes in the metal were too small to 2 of the screws. I had to drill the holes in metal larger and then use gorilla glue to hold the screws in the metal. I also used gorilla glue along the edge and then clamped it.
